Non-OEM (FAKE/CLONE) Apple Watch Bands

My band, it appears, arrived at the "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA ISC SAN FRANCISCO EPACKET" yesterday. I'm assuming it's being transferring to USPS from there? I live just a few minutes away from SF. I'll post pictures as soon as it comes.

I tracked directly from China Post, and they never received the item. It forever said "the shipper has notified CP that a delivery will be processed." Or something to that effect.

Congratulations! You are the first and only one to get a leather loop. Where did you get it and how much? (Although I noticed that the prices have increased on the nonexistent loops every time I look, from $30 to $50 to $70!)

I bought it from SIKAI on AliExpress. I ordered it when it was first posted on this thread, on May 11th. It was listed for ~$29 then, but then SIKAI message me (and others) with this:

I am sorry for the unclear description in the product.

The red one looks pretty good to me! I have 2 red coming from different sellers, and they both have arrived in the states, so I am optimistic! I also have a blue and black Apple version to compare them to.

You probably know this, but Mobilefun has these listed on their site and according to them this strap doesn't have a magnetic closure.
How accurate that is, who knows, just thought I'd mention it.
 
Hey guys, I thought I had to share this with you.

I paid for DHL express delivery of my red leather loop, which should have arrived at some point towards the middle of last week. On Thursday the seller told me that they had actually forgotten to ship it, or some bull along those lines. On Friday I asked again because the DHL tracking wasn't updating, and this is what I got today:

Stephanie Wu seems to be a con as well. she just switched it to delivery cuz it was her last day to do so but there hasnt been any functional tracking number ever since

Looks very good, I thought the non integrated adapter would bother me, but it looks great.

You didn't mention what size band you got? 38mm or 42mm?
I wonder if the 42mm band with edges like yours would look better on a 38mm perhaps? Or is your watch 38mm? Thanks! And sorry for the million questions! Also can you show us the tempered glass protector?

They messaged me last night asking me to change my negative feedback and then they would refund me so i replied saying not a chance. refund me otherwise I will get ebay involved (about an hour ago) and already have a refund haha!

negative feedback will still stay!
 
@enderg wow, the "gray" adapter does look very good, and it looks well fitted as well. Non of the part sticking out. I think im getting one to add to my collection.

anyway, there are modern buckles knock off start to show to on Ebay now. Though the quality from their classic buckle is quite bad so i dont get high hope for these. Looks really good from the pics though lolz

"Shenzen Leakind Precision industry co.,Ltd" will have most apple bands knockoffs next month. Everything 1:1. Sport band 15.5usd, classic buckle 11.5usd, leather loop 120usd, milanese loop 35 usd, link bracelet 150usd all prices sample price without shipping. :)
Also modern buckle, price not decided yet

The feel of the "leather" is very similar to the Apple Leather Loop. It's surprisingly supple and the "grain" is VERY similar. It is not stiff, like I expected from the previous pictures. The red of the band is similar to the red on a Netflix envelope, included in the picture.

I specifically requested the medium length, and it is identical to the Apple band in length. The only differences in looks are that the end of the long piece of the tap is a little larger and the metal-lined opening on the short strap is slightly less rounded. I tried to get this in the picture but it's hard to see unless you're looking close up. The edges of the band also doesn't come all the way to the edge of the Apple watch like the authentic leather loop does - it's about half a millimeter short on either side.

I was very impressed until I put it on. The magnets inside are noticeable weaker than the Apple band. Typically when I make a fist the Apple band gives me some resistance but moves slightly (I do this when I put it on to the settle the band between magnets so it doesn't loosen over the day and give false positive notifications). The SIKAI band gave me little to no resistance and the magnetic connection loosened quickly. The magnets seemed strong enough to keep it on during normal wear.
However, in a test where I flailed my arms wildly (kind of like Dr. Zoidberg on Futurama) the SIKAI strap loosened very quickly. The magnets reattached themselves, but it's a scary thought that it could fall off this way, however unlikely that motion might be in normal circumstances. It's important to note that the Apple band did not loosen at all in the same Zoidberg test.

For a knock-off, it's not bad - but I wish the magnets were stronger. Not to sound morbid, but I also wish it were more of a blood red, like the (Product) Red iPod shuffles and nano used to be.

Why is the Leather Loop so much more than the others?

Yea, it's been several weeks now since I got my refund, and he's STILL asking me to change my review. I told him as I said the last time, when I have product in hand I'll be happy to write a stellar review, but no product, no change. Please do not contact me again.
