Looks awesome mate - big congratulations - I also use my link bracelet almost all the time - it's just a major step up for the look of the watch

I recently bought this one off Amazon:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00JP6FZTG?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00

The link now goes to the silicone band for some weird reason but when I bought it, it linked to the MoKo Premium Soft Leather Loop Band with Strong Adjustable Magnetic Closure for 42mm Apple Watch Models (that was their actual description). I bought the Midnight Blue colour.

Haven't posted any pics because the band is really poor quality so wasn't worth it.

First, the box was covered in SERIOUSLY poor English and grammar (doesn't bode well right from the get go!) but then on actually taking the band out, it 100% just feels like plastic - definitely NOT "...Premium Soft Leather"

The magnets were very strong BUT, when the band and watch were on my wrist, it was kinda strange - the magnets kind of crinkle together and so I had to keep flattening out the band around my wrist. Its as if ALL the magnets were attracting to one another and they ALL wanted to stick together!! The band was also EXTREMELY thin, and did not feel very nice at all. Not sure why there are 5 star reviews for the bands - they are obviously for their other bands as the leather loop, is certainly not worthy of 5 stars (I rated it a 1)

When it was on my wrist, you would think that the band would want to follow the curve of my wrist - but it did not! Along the underside of my wrist, the band wanted to stay stiff and straight even though I kept curving following the contour of my wrist. The magnets in the loop also made clinking sounds every time I moved my wrist - which kinda reinforced the feel of a plastic loop instead of leather!

I would avoid this product if I were you.

Your description of the watch just floating on your wrist got me. So I ordered one. It came in today, and boy are you right! It's really marvelous, and I'm not a fan of the sort bands.

My Clear Strapped&Co Sports band came in today.

The adapter fit is perfect (doesn't stick out of the watch at all), no mould lines.

It's really beautiful. From a distance in bright light, it looks as if the watch is just floating on my wrist.

Bought from this eBay listing when it was on sale:

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Apple-Watch-...ap-Clear-Ice-Silicone-38mm-42mm-/291624734180

Can't recommend the Strapped&Co bands enough, they are a perfect replica to the Apple bands, other than the silicone v.s. fleuroelastomer.

Only possible downside is that you only get to choose between sm/m and m/lg, you don't get both. Which is fine with me, because I can only use the sm/m band and the other would be a waste, like the official lg bands I have sitting in the closet.

Caved and ordered a 4th gen black SS link bracelet. It was the last one and it was from a U.S. seller, for about $10-$20 less than I've seen it normally sold for. I had been checking things out all week, saw that seller had them around Monday, and once I realized I was looking at the last one, I just felt I had to grab it.

Will be here Saturday. Maybe a nice little reward for my first graduate school exam :p

This is only £9 on Amazon this morning.

Apple Watch Band, JETech 42mm Leather Strap Wrist Band Replacement w/ Metal Clasp for Apple Watch All Models 42mm (42mm, Brown) by JETech http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00ZZEFKQU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_udp_awd_CWP4wbVBV9S7C

Looks ok but rather thin for my liking! The thing with buying from JETech is although Amazon states the seller is "JETech UK", upon clicking their name, Amazon then shows that the seller is actually based in the U.S.

If this was shipped to the U.K. we'd get stung for import charges which would be more than the product itself.

It seems there is a quality issue with the 4th Generation clone link band which leads to a total failure:
Here he explains the problem in more detail:

Actually I think the quality of the link parts is almost spot on - So only minor changes are necessary for a almost perfect alternative to the real deal.
Can anyone confirm if this problem has been solved or if it still exists?
I tried with my 1:1 and it did break a link but that amount of force i used to try to pull it apart i would never see in real life situations unless i got into a fight. So wonderful now that i have one less link to use since it broke from it. I won't be doing that again I've had no issues with it for 2 weeks now.

I saw this video a few days ago while on youTube, and I was thinking exactly what evil said here. When would you ever try to apply force like that? Looks like the guy was trying to break the thing...

Got the 4th gen link. Just opened it, put it on and already have a problem :/

Put it on the first time, everything was fine. I just needed to take it back off to remove links. Took out about 6-7 links in all. Taking it off for the 2nd time (had to put back in 1 link), was a little more work. When I was putting it back on, one of the black bumpers (there is one on either side of the button that clicks into the watch) seemed like it was a little higher, because I was sliding both sides of the band in, and on the one side this bumper was on, the watch seemed to be bumping into the bumper instead of sliding over the bumper, like usual.

It appears it came off. I put it on the white box and took a picture. However, I slid the band right in afterwards and it seemed everything was fine. Things clicked with no issue. Not sure if it's really going to be a problem. Thinking I should just contact the seller about it to be safe

As for the other problems people have mentioned with the 4th gen, I don't seem to have them. Some have mentioned the clasp not closing easily, but it's closing very easily on mine. No more force than a little press.

Some have also shown a video where the band could be pulled apart at the detachable links. Don't know what possessed the guy to try that. Anyways, I tried it on my band, and it wasn't happening.

There is one little dent on one of the links. 5th picture, 8th link down, on the right side. Doesn't even really look like one unless you look very closely.

There are small gaps. The most noticeable gap is between the first link that connects to the end, which connects to the watch.

Looks like they sent it in a white box as to not excite the feds :p

I got one today that looks similar for $15 ebay. People are crazy to spend for the Apple one. crazy. I like it but I think it could scratch the bezel when not being warn as it folds up and sticks magnetically to the watch, but it looks nice.

Hi guys,

I've been having a hard time trying to figure out the best good quality replica of the apple saddle brown classic buckle. Any thoughts? Photos would be good. I see a bunch of them on Amazon and eBay but they look darker and not as thick. Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks

I did read around here but can't find - Anyone find a Milanese clone that matches the Space Gray Alum Watch color ? I got a $15 ebay black one that is very nice but would like a closer color match. in 42mm. Someone is advertising a Gray one on ebay but does not know if it matches the Apple gray. thanks,

The Apple one doesn't do that.

I have a ton of non Apple bands hat are replicas. I still ordered the black nylon because all Zulu straps I've seen look like crap on a stick. So hopefully the apple one is nice.

By the way unordered yesterday. Said six weeks shipping. It shipped today and will be here tomorrow.

The eBay seller touted in his thread for leather loops. Well I own four of them. Most have started coming apart at the connector. I'd guess a small dab of superglue remedies it. But still consistently poor glue. I guess if they last a year it's worth it.

The black link I bought that at first I thought sucked. Doesn't at all. And to this day it's he best knockoff ice seen of the link in black. And my go to band. I'm hoping the nylon will replace it for summer as its so hot here.

Anyone comes across good looking nylon knockoffs for $15 or less I'll be a Guinness pig and compare to the oem

There's one on Amazon for $18-25 depending on color that's spot on. This band has been the best cloned of them all I think - basically my gf silver is indistinguishable from authentic. The link is way more comfortable for me and better looking. I couldn't get behind the Milanese. Too feminine even in black and 42. One of the least manly straps going.

That said maybe it's he knockoffs that look that way due to being thin but I think this one from Amazon is as thick as the authentic

Got a 4th generation link bracelet and while I am quite impressed with the quality for what it is, I definitely understand why the OEM version costs so much. The tolerances are so much more strict and the machining is impeccable. On the clone, we see the standard gaps in between links as well as various places where the machining is off. There is even a strange dent in the material on one of the lugs. Also, while I was telling my wife that I had heard that sometimes the connectors on the replicas would fail in between lugs, my watch heroically leapt to the (luckily carpeted) floor. It did come undone right at the link that I had just added moments before, so I am giving it the benefit of the doubt for now. I am being incredibly careful though. All in all, not sure if I will be keeping this, but it does give me a greater appreciation for the original and an understanding of its high price.

UPDATE: This is going back. I have had the spontaneous detaching link problem that seems to plague these 4th gen models. I might get a 3rd gen in the future, but for now the 4th is being returned.

I've just received three new OEM clones from AliExpress, and they are brilliant.

I ordered:

- Royal Blue Sports Band
- Black Leather Loop
- Space Grey Leather Loop

They're really really good, and I got the whole lot for about £30.

I was hesitant about ordering leather loops from AliExpress but actually it's almost the same as the genuine OEM Brown LL that I have already.

Really pleased.

That bracelet looks awesome!!

I find these bracelets a little bit of a gamble, with regards to sizing. The first one I ordered (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Elobeth-Sta...&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00 ) , only had 3 links (either side of the watch itself), which were removable. Even when all 6 were removed, the band was STILL too large on my wrist so was a waste of money!

I then ordered a second ( http://www.amazon.co.uk/Apple-Watch...&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00), and although the bracelet was identical, the second one actually had 5 removable links (either side of the watch itself) - I had to remove all 10 to get the bracelet to fit my narrow wrist!

I guess all of these must be manufactured in the same factory as they all look 99% identical!!

I'm now using this one:

I was previously using this style (see below), but I don't like the way the band collapses on itself when you take the watch off!!
