Other Notch versus Pill+Hole

Now this is actually iconic. If their was some other game changing thing/feature Apple had that literally blew other smartphone makers out of the water and made up for this design? Maybe like some 3D Hologram thing? Then I would buy this. If you’ve ever seen a 3D photograph it is kinda game changing.
I absolutely love stereoscopic 3D. But the technology isn't quite there yet for the polish that Apple likes to offer. I still have my pink 3DS.
I never really minded the notch. It doesn't take up any significant real estate and it doesn't draw attention to itself like the Pill+Hole design probably will. Most of what I use my iPhone for is texting, watching videos, and playing app games. Maybe scrolling Google News. But the notch never ONCE got in my way or distracted me.Notch versus Pill+Hole

No way! I Love 3DS! Too bad that era is over. And right? Increase that stereoscopic ppi up and couple that with all those cameras we have on the back our phones? Not that .3 mp nintendo got? And Instant seller. In no way a gimmick
I think the leap won't be that quick. We like our separation from technology. Watches and glasses are as far as most will go. Some will go further, but not the majority.
How about none of them? There is no reason for that asinine notch or pill to be on a computer much less a phone

Haven't you heard? As of a recent iOS 15 update the iPhone 12 and later Face ID is already compatible with masks.
Our eyes are adapted to psychologically fill in holes like the pill/hole because our eyes have a blind spot naturally and our brains are always doing this below the level of conscious awareness.
In actual use the pill will be a huge psychological improvement because there’s content all around the area for our brain to fill it in.

i actually think the pill+hole have a modern look to them, while the notch has a very conservative look to it. Not horrible, and still classy, but old.
In use i don't notice it too much though (other than having to swipe down for the battery percentage)
