I'm not worried at all, yeah the octa core is appealing because well, 8 core awesomeness and 64bit capability.

....It's Big.little.

It's not 8 cores. It's 4 higher powered and 4 lowered power.

These spec manipulations are shameless.

Finally played with a Note 4. It was side by side with a Note 3, and I was like, which one is which? Lol. Apple always gets a lot of flak for keeping similar designs...it was very hard to tell the 3 and 4 apart.

Actually it should be pretty obvious to see the difference

By just looking at the curves if anything. The design change should be light as day to see.

If someone asked me which one was the Note 3, I honestly wouldn't have been able to tell guess it correctly. Sad part is, I used to have a Note 3. One way I knew which one was which was when I turned on the screen, and saw the updated TouchWiz UI.

You can tell by the shape around the sides. Note 3 looks more chunky round the edges . Each to their own though:)

If you have to look reeeaaaal close to tell phones apart, it means that there is no product differentiation.

People often complain about the "bezels" on the iPhone, but if it were just a screen then wtf separates it stylistically from every other screen? Branding works.

But you don't need to look close, seems clear to me.

It seems quite clear to me too. I can see the general shape and size is similar but that's fine - I'm happy enough with the note 3 in that regard. I'm more interested in the improved screen and changes under the hood though.

Yeah, 'cause plastic is so similar to metal. Give us a break.

@TheGame161 Has your Note 4 arrived or shipped ? Make sure you do a review. I'm sticking to my Samsung Galaxy Alpha & iPhone 6 for a few months, but definitely looking forward to hearing your impressions :)

Clearly there's a difference, I just couldn't remember exactly how the Note 3 looked. What I'm saying is, if you didn't know how the N3 looked then you wouldn't be able to tell which were the newer model.

He is right, and there is nothing wrong with that. The average consumer can tell the difference. Doesn't make the phone any more or less awesome.

Same with the iPhone 5 and 5s. Most likely the same will be said of the six and six s.

Yeah, most don't be able to tell the difference between the two devices if you didn't look at the flash on the back...

I have no problem with it looking similar...to be honest, I think its pointless to completely change the device EVERY year...

Agreed.

Honestly I like the design upgrade cycle apple has. Just my opinion though.

A few months? You will at least have and try a Note 4 before that. Wanna bet? :)

I'm sure they will not mind posing for some snaps either, not that they have much choice. :)

That really is a nice photo. I guess I need some photography classes because none of my pictures come out that good on the Note 3
a good example that you can have the best setup and shoot bad pics, but also... you can have "not the latest and greatest setup" and take the best shots.

This... Pick up both phones and they literally feel completely different. I don't disagree that they look similar when simply viewed but that is a good thing. It tells me Samsung has a good design that doesn't need changing.
