While I prefer the Note 4 myself, I don't get the part where he speaks about the it being so much more stable while shooting video. The Note 4 video looks a lot more shaky. Or are my eyes deceiving me?

Here's the exact spot:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=Arah2K_xvCk#t=148

If you look at this Note4 vs Ip6+ comparison review from the same people as the camera review above ... you will see more of the video/camera comparison at the ~18.00 minute mark in the following video. Note 4 seems to be more stable in those video.

True, there it looks like the 6+ is shaky instead. Kind of a weird video test though, he should have mounted both phones on a rack of some kind while shooting to make sure they were being moved in the same way.

This thread shouldn't exist...

I know, I should create the university of android and enroll you with a scholarship.....just don't fail my classes by mentioning the iphone :D

With the countless number of android phones I have owned... I probably should have an honorary degree, from your school.

Such a university would be great for some people here though, haha.

Kind of true, compared with the N4, the 6+ looks like it's dumb, ugly brother, can do nothing more than the iPhone 6.
Like comparing N4 with S5....

But I know there are people preferring the 6+, choice is great.

I do because I will take iOS any day of the week over a Samsung/Touchwiz OS. Pure Android is great though and wish they would somehow get it onto bigger devices like the Note line with a Google Play Edition.

Hardware wise I prefer Android phones but software is a bigger factor for me and Apple always wins for me in that regard.

Can't really see why all the complaints about touchwiz.

Use a different launcher would mostly cover it. Those background stuff that that are still there - who cares...out of sight out of mind.

The Plus is not easy to handle one handed. It added to the list of why I did not keep it. I had to put up with the security lock device on the Note 4 at BB but I could tell it was more easily handled one handed over the Plus when I tried it in store.

I have given up on comparisons for flagship phones and only peek in on one because they are occasionally entertaining.

Whether people like to admit or not, the phones are more similar than dissimilar. Apple will never "win" the smartphone wars in terms of overall market share (from an Apple vs. Android perspective) not because it's "worse" than Android but because smartphones have become commodities.

Yes, there are some marginal variations here and there, but for the most part, they are the same damn things. So long as they do what we need them to do, then we all win. Life is not resoundingly easier with an iPhone vs. Note 4 vs. some other device. Life is easier with all of these devices, period.

Doesn't have to be active.

Just look up the trade in value of phones on sprint and see what you can get. Then go buy said phone.

I wonder if I can use my original iPhone 2G for the Best Buy trade-in. It still works and I don't see the minimum $10 thing for them.

Pre-ordered my Note 4 from Best Buy yesterday. You pay $50 to lock it in, and they immediately give you a $50 gift card. So between that and the $200 trade-in seemed like the way to go for me. I could not do it online: had to physically go into a Best Buy to do it. They said it was because of $50 gift card thing.

You most likely could. Just do the trade in before the sixteenth.

I heard best buy doesn't really care how much the phone is worth, and the rebate is instant.

Hell... I read over at android central that people were buying cheap prepaid phones and trading them in right then and there.

Shouldn't be too hard to get the rebate if you go through best buy.

Best Buy at my local store will not do the trade in till Friday. What happens is the $200 is put on a GC which needs to be immediately used for the Note 4.

You have to do the trade before the 16th? I thought it was done when you get the phone.

And I am going to try using my iPhone 2G! Thanks.

Was referring to the trade in if you go through Samsung

AppleRobert detailed his experience above. I would go with that.

With BB you do the trade in when you pick up the phone.

Good.

Fingers crossed I can trade in the old iPhone 2G. I was keeping it around, mostly for nostalgic reasons, but with a battery life measured in minutes I don't see the point much anymore.

BB has a trade in amount calculator linked on the bottom of their home page amongst other things, just check there.

What I really would like to see is a minimum trade-in amount requirement. I know Samsung's offer clearly spells out $10. I can't find similar for Best Buy's.

Ive asked around, some stores say $10 others say as long as it's not zero. I would definitely be careful and shoot for having a $10 phone. I sold my iphone 4 for $200 to ATT during their trade in promo so have no trade in, I plan on buying a prepaid phone for $39 at BB and trading that in. $161 is still nice.

Man, Friday can't come fast enough. I just got a call this morning that an afternoon appointment was moved up on Friday so I'm not even sure I can pick it up on Friday, sigh.

Best Buy said, and I asked emphatically, they will hold it for two days. So, Saturday should be okay.... hopefully.

As for the trade-in, if my iPhone 2G is rejected I have my current Note 2 that is in great shape (AT&T model unlocked). I think I could sell it for $150-$200 but the question is, do I want to go through the hassle.
