Thanks for the suggestion, but I thought about it; current reviews deem the Z Play powerful enough and that the main differences between the Z Force and Z Play are 1) higher screen resolution and 2) Shatterproof.

But Z Play is only about $408, while the Force is almost double the price at $720. I'm happy with 1080p and (certainly the Z Play will have better battery life than the Force because of this and less power hungry SOC) and I'm ok not having Shatterproof.

If only the new Nexuses are available now...

that works. I assumed price also came into Play (pun intended) with your decision. Good luck!

For the Note7 users who returned their device was there any inspecting the Note7 for missing items or discrepancies? Reason I ask... I recently misplaced my S-PEN and I'm debating whether to order a new one. I plan on exchanging the Note7 when the new shipments arrive.

I already contacted a online rep from BB who informed me I shouldn't have any issues, but I just wanted to check with users who returned their Note7.

They didn't check anything very closely and didn't hassle my husband about his busted screen. I think we should all get free S-pens for this crock o' acorns.

Please be careful keeping your Note around. They're not joking around. I'm even having problems with my loaner S7 heating up randomly. Badly. I am disappointed because I could have fallen in love with this little guy, too. But it's been acting weird since day one. They don't all do this and my husband's S7 Edge doesn't run hot but he did find a lot of processes running that should not be, draining his battery real fast. I'll have to find the app he used. He's going to install it on my S7 when he gets home.

Returned my Coral Blue Note 7 today to T-Mobile. Walked out with an iPhone 6s+. I'll do a jump on demand upgrade when the black iPhone 7+ in 128gb are available in December. That was my quoted wait time, hence me walking out with a 64gb iPhone 6s+.

Exynos or Snapdragon? I've been doing a bit more reading and apparently Snapdragons are real dragons. Some people commenting on the following article seem to have struggled with overheating worse than I'm seeing. But what I'm witnessing is bad enough that I don't feel comfortable pocketing it anymore. http://wccftech.com/is-galaxy-s7-ov...pe-manufacturers-might-provide-some-evidence/

It's a loaner so it's going back to AT&T and I am grateful to have had the chance to try it. I came so close to deciding to trade my 6S Plus in for it or one like it. I had my eye on the pink gold one to go with my Blue coral note 7 when it comes back to me.

I can return this loaner without incurring any restocking fees. I'm not taking any further chances with QC when my first Samsung gets recalled, and my loaner S7 phone thinks it's a toaster strudel. I'm willing to risk trying again with a new Note 7 but that's it.

My iPhone 7 will be here in a few days and I must say I'm getting regret pangs as I look at my Note7. It is such an incredibly designed phone. In all honesty does a single phone exist currently that is as nice in terms of aesthetics? Well I have to return it anyway before it catches fire, but I'm going to be watching the 2nd hand market very well for a deal because I'm sure I will want to keep one around. I think this time I may go for an international model so I can root it and make it run perfectly.

I'm having Note 7 withdrawals !!

The 6S+ is oh so ...blah!!

That's my fear, ditching the slightly ditzy explosive fashion model for the reliable but plain jane who is always there. I miss my Note 7 and I still have it!!

I finally got a text from T-mobile today, which lead me to a site that to put my info so they will notify me when replacements are in. Again, I'm giving them up until the 18th.

The new Note7 has been approved by CPSC, they will be available next week on wed Sept 21 !!!!!

Well, they did say "by" Wednesday. So, it could be even sooner... Possibility Monday.

I'm anxious to get mine replaced... I misplaced my S-PEN, thought about getting it replaced a few days ago. But read a statement from BB that they will accept the Note7 no matter if anything is missing.

There is a full blown recall on them, so you should really stop using it.

Thanks, I wasn't aware. jk. When the new ones come in, I'll swap it. Can't decide if I should get a blue (like the blue but hate the coral trim, but with my s view case, it's mostly hidden) or just get another black? They're both nice.

Hopefully, next week, I'll get both my new Note 7 and my iPhone 7 plus (I pre-ordered the plus). We'll see...

I'm getting my Note 7 replacement by mail and I am suppose to ship back the old one after. I'm keeping the s pen, charger, and headphones. In also going to drop test it and scratch test it, maybe fire test it hahaha just kidding

But for real, what can they say if you give back a burned phone.

Return it for a replacement model or get the S7 edge if the battery explosion is still apparent with the Note7 replacements.

You don't need to worry if it hasn't affected you yet. Don't let isolated incidents scare you or prevent you from enjoying your device. Every phone has defects. But remember your warranty. It might blow up on you passed warranty.

Better to be safe than sorry. So get the Note7 replacement with the green battery indicator. This stuff should get sorted out real soon by last week September. Some people's orders for an iPhone 7/7+ won't even he delivered to them yet until another month or longer.
