How did you know when it went to PFD? I seem to remember there is a script for this?
Just received notification my 15" BTO shipped. Standard shipping through FedEx apparently. Left Shanghai at 5:25PM their time. Est delivery 11/28 :/. Glad it's at the very start of Apple's estimated window but was hoping to have it for my time off for Thanksgiving!
Mine went "preparing for dispatch" overnight, ordered late 29th. Seems this queue system is working.

Yeah I'm a software developer so I wrote a little Ruby script to check for any change of status on the Apple store. It's only a rough and ready script so not really useful for most people. It also needs to run on a computer which is always on and you need to have an email server you can use for outgoing emails.
Oh it was you! I remember you from the Apple Watch thread last year I think! I was handling a spreadsheet of everyones shipping status for the Apple Watches and I remember you had that script. Nice work

Well guys... Mine has finally shipped. Late last night. It's still in Shanghai at the local FedEx facility.. My dates were the 28th-6th.... FedEx says I will have it the 28th.
A little confused as to why it's FedEx? I thought UPS handled their shipping, but nonetheless I'm just excited it has finally shipped! I will keep everyone updated, maybe somehow I'll get it Friday

Same situation. Must be on same flight. Let's hope it gets here early. I was thinking about trying to do that "Hold at Fedex Location" option to see if I could pick it up Friday but have no experience with it.
I thought about doing the exact same thing. I don't have much experience with that either. What I do have experience with is changing the address or location of a package and it delayed it for a couple more days (it made me super mad but it should've been logic to me). Because of that experience I'm super sketched out to change anything, at all. Lol
I just don't want one single delay.
Every order is trackable. Go to your account on Apple.com or find the email Apple sent to you. Both will have a tracking number through whichever company you end up with. Sometimes if it has just shipped though, its not trackable for up to 24 hours.
since the UPS flight already left for Anchorage from Shanghai, I assume mine will depart on tomorrow morning's flight around 9:45AM CST. UPS81
