Hello all. New late 2012 mac mini owner. Not new to mac's but this is first I've had personally. Back in 2001ish I worked on various mac's G3 to G4. Mostly a rebuild process and various software tasks, overall I did everything from software to hardware. That job fell through so moved on. After getting a iPhone a couple months ago decided I was tired of Microsoft and no longer wanted to play with Linux. Looking at getting a iPad and maybe another mac mini this year.

I'm a Portuguese student living in Portugal, I study advertising and Marketing (mostly advertising) and I am a Apple lover!
Had to work hard, sell a lot of stuff and collect a looot of money to get my Macbook Pro, which I love. And my iPhone... same thing.
Hope I can fit in the community even though my english fails sometimes

Hi everyone,
I'm pretty new to the world of Apple/Mac since I only got an iPad4 just recently, and also using a Mac for work, still getting the hang of it since everything is different (been using Windows for a long time).
Other than being a marketing intern for the time being, I'm a full-time student studying in Australia for postgrad. There're a lot of things I need to learn and this forum has been pretty helpful. Hopefully will get to know some of you better as I go along!

I've read a lot of threads here in the past, but just joined this month to participate with everyone else who is also anxiously waiting for their new 27in iMac.

I had been lurking myself for a few weeks, and decided to join, because, I'm finally getting a Mac, after 7 years without one. My work revolves, around peece hardware, and cleaning up M$ OSes when I'm up to it. I'm tired of all the crap, and want my Mac back jack

This site has helped me massively and thought it only right to join and add my 2cents on what I've learnt and more than likely ask silly questions ( I will try and research before asking as I can imagine every topic has been covered)

MacRumors has been a great resource over the years. Perhaps one day I can return the favour(s).
I also like the fact that I've never seen a thread up here where Mac vets have belittled the barely computer literate amongst us. If such threads exist, I don't want to know -the world is miserable enough.

Hello everyone. I'm Derry ODell. I'm a big fan of Apple products, whether its an iPhone, Mac, iPad, etc, just apple products in general are my favourite. Have been researching the forums for a few months while I debated the switch from PC. Well I decided to give it a shot and purchased a MacBook Pro Retina a few days ago and so far all is going good. Just wanted to stop in this thread to say Hello Apple Community!

My name is Jeff. I have designed a few prototypes for iOS devices, one of which is available on the forum, I love technology, and have gotten to love the quality of Apple products over the years.
Used to hate Apple in the years before the iPhone believe it or not...

Currently my only Apple device is an iPad 2 but that should change a few months from now. I have owned an iPhone 4S and a fourth gen iPod touch but that all got replaced by my current Galaxy Nexus.
