And aim geting an ipad android is really buggy and laggie
 
Just joined today 😀 I've been a Mac user for over a year, and so far I'm happy with my switch. I still kinda miss having a PC, and I live in a household that is more used to PC, so we'll probably have a PC desktop hooked up to my 32" Vizio in the future, (which I wanted a MacMini for that.) I bought my first Mac through a refurb seller on eBay for $600, (mid 2007 MacBook 'black edition'). I was specifically looking for a black MacBook because I find them more appealing than the white models of that generation, (I'm starting to like the aluminum models, took me a while). I'm hoping to expand my Apple collection in the future, (hopefully with a nice shiny new iMac 😀)

I came here, in addition to being on MacForums, to chat with other Mac users, and to expand my Mac 'user knowledge' and learn how to keep my 6-year-old MacBook running strong for many years to come.

hey guys the names clark, always enjoyed apple products (have iphone5, ipad2) and allways wanted a mac and the other week my old windows laptop died which pushed me in the direction i am now got my first imac and love it so far. i like motorcycles, music and photography keen to do some research on this site and learn some more

I am a long-time Mac user (since 1996) that has been lurking around here for years. LOL Finally decided to register for the forums. 🙂

My present Mac is the mid-2012 MacBook Pro @ 2.7 GHz with 16 GB RAM and a 1.0 TB Seagate SSHD. It was a custom build with the high resolution glossy screen.

I sold my MacPro1,1 to buy this MacBook Pro. 🙂

My journey with Apple started when I bought my girlfriend's son an iPod touch for his birthday. I was a dedicated Windows user, laptop, desktop and even phone. The young man kept crowing about how cool it was.

One week later, I had a iPhone 3GS, which I kept until upgrading to the 5 recently.

In 2010, I bought a MacBook Pro and spent several months learning how to program Objective C.

But my real passion is photography. I shoot Nikon and edit my photos in LightRoom, so I just recently updated to a 27" iMac (I5, 24GB, 3TB Fusion drive).

As well as my photography, I'm a creative professional (product and UI designer) and simply love anything that mixes technology and art. What I love about Apple is their sense of design and style, and that everything just works.

I had an iPad since launch day and was a mod for a time on ioadforums.net. I've upgraded twice since then and currently run the fourth generation retina iPad. It's my primary computing device in my private life except for editing photos and programming of course. Still using Windows at the office and program also a couple of Windows programming languages.

Hello everyone, I have been looking around for quite a while and finally decided to register ( especially since I do have 'iphone- itis! `LOL)

Been a iphone guy for awhile and recently decided to switch to t-mobile for the better price ... looking forward to learning a LOT more from all of you!

My name is André and I have recently succumbed to the temptation and bit the Apple. 🙂 After 20 years of Windows and a about 5 years of Linux, I decided it was time to try something else and bought an iMac. Though I signed up sometime in early 2012 I have never used the forums and can't figure out how to ask a question. Can anyone help? oooraah@yahoo.com if you don't want to post here. Never used a blog before, thanks for your help.
 
Never knew this thread existed. Em am not new but we will pretend am new for the purpose of this post lol. Am 32 from UK.

My first mac ever was my Mac mini. Gosh I bought that back a good 4 or 5 years ago I think. It was the the first Mac mini with intel core duo. Then I moved into a MacBook Pro now I have MacBook Air.

In term of other mac products I have always had all the iPhones and yeah that's about it really 🙂
 
I've also been a lurker, but decided to register and see what the fuss is all about 😉 It's been a few months since I registered now, but this is my third post or so...

I'm Jenny, I live in Sweden, 27 yrs old, newly addicted to Apple (have had an iPhone and iPad for a few yrs, but just recently bought a rMBP). Besides being a hobby tech-geek I enjoy my cats, blogging, Spotify, watching diff series on Netflix and also I'm an aspiring makeup artist! Very girly of me, I know.

Gonna be fun to explore this forum! 🙂
