No the store is usually updated between 10 and 12 AM PT, so depends where you are.
And on the other note why do you whant high end graphic card in MBP?? Its not gaming machine! And even with card that now is in (1600) diablo is pretty decent

Diablo is a 2D game, it plays well even with integrated graphics

Just throwing this out there. Best buy online looks as thought they are sold out on Macbooks except for the 17"MBP. Could that be another clue to an iminent refresh?

Wow, that and the limited selection at the Apple Stores are the two best indications we've gotten thus far. For Apple to stop shipping those notebooks to a major retailer like BestBuy is pretty promising for an imminent update.

Up here in Canada it seems as though all the local Future Shop's have no MB stock left, and they've got a sale on for the on-line stock.

Seriously though, Apple needs to get it's act together here. I NEED to buy a laptop in the next few weeks, and I WANT it to be a Macbook. If Apple can't get it's act together in time though, there's no way I can justify spending that much money on what amounts to old tech with the GMA 950 in it, especially when every other single laptop manufacturer is offering updated lines RIGHT NOW.

Seriously, OS X is supposed to be worth it's weight in gold, but it's not worth being stuck with old tech or a pointless wait. This is really bothering me, I've got money to spend, and a desire to switch to Apple, now let's hope they don't keep me waiting until I buy a windows machine.

Well the Apple Store online (UK and US) currently has a 24hour wait before they ship the MBPs.

So I don't know it looks like the new ones are going to be released tomorrow.

If I'm not mistaken it always says that.

At Circuit City all of the Macbooks 13in to 17in are all sold out.
Also the Mini is sold out there too.

At Best Buy the Minis are still available but the Mac Pro isn't.

iMacs are available at both stores.

Hmm...any conclusive evidence from all of this? Maybe the MBs and MBPs get updated.

Well, if they are released tomorrow and are ready to ship, the new models ARE less than 24 hours from shipping.

:)

I'm ready. My iBook G3 700 is on it's last leg. And I'm not using my G5 as much, so I'm going high end MacBook Pro. Just waiting for the update.

I just want the latest and greatest. My dad will probably sell his Blackbook and take my MBP. Then again, might sell the MBP. (PM me if you're interested)

It's that time again....

And then the overhyping shall be followed by the cries of despair and disappointment...

There's nothing wrong with the "old" machines. They're very powerful. Santa Rosa is just a small improvement to the chipset and the smallest of speedbumps to the processor and FSB. The graphics cards will likely be the only significant enhancements. Expecting more may be setting yourself up.

LEDs are still not expected until later this year, although they have started showing up in a few very high-end laptops. But they're still a lot more expensive than normal screens, so its very unlikely they'll be offered at the same price point unless Apple can pull off a hell of a volume discount.

Of course the new product introductions might be a good opportunity to pick up a great deal on the older refurb model. Nothing wrong with that.

I expect it will be released by the time you get to work.

I just hope it's new MBPs and not new MBs (unless the MacBooks have a decent graphics chip).

OOOH! the pain :( where is my MBP...? Seems like only the same old macbooks with just a little bigger hard drives got released.
I was waiting for my first MBP!
Now how long do i have to wait? WWDC..?

Well, that's propably the lamest update ever...
But MBs are not for computer freaks or heavy users, so I guess they will be selling them for years to come. Price and usability, not power or newest high tech...

Well the wait continues. I feel like we are like the dinosaurs in The Land Before Time, marching along slowly getting weaker. Some of us are starting to drop off. Hopefully soon we will reach the oasis.
