Phone looks amazing. I like that notches and cutouts are going away. I also hope that Samsung gets 90 or 120Hz soon! May not be until next year, though.

Is this phone better than the S10+?

Just bought an S10 but might return it.

Agree that it’s a pretty superb overall device. For me personally though, the curved display is still a deal breaker. And I think I’d still lean towards the Pixel for camera quality (if initial impressions of the camera prove to be true). Water/dust resistance certification is also now table stakes, IMO. Living in Florida, that stuff matters for me.

Still, if I had to choose between this and a Galaxy device, this would win out.
Yeah I am thinking of returning my S10+ to get this.

The S10 plus has th better battery?

That's subjective. Like root? Faster updates? Less bloat? Less cost? Personally these are reasons I'd go for the one plus (or pixel) over the Galaxy.

Like tons of features? Probably louder headphone volume? A beautiful design? (Probable tie) a probable more solid design? Then the Sammy may be for you.

My OP6 feels like it'd break if I hold it wrong, just seems a bit fragile. My Galaxy S7 edge (I know it's old but it's my main line) feels a bit more built. I've had a couple notes that took some abuse before I cracked the screen and it was still usable, aside from the lag typing but this was note 4 and prior.

Not sure if I helped

My Nexus 6 has the loudest volume, but, I had to edit the mixer paths which is no longer available in the newer phone's / software. My s7e has some decent volume, but I'm a bit hard of hearing (kinda wonder why :rolleyes:o_O) ... But I did have hearing issues as a kid so could be why I find earphone volume a bit low on many devices.

Curved screen...why!?? OnePlus makes some damn good phones. The OnePlus 5 I had was an amazing phone. Wish we could get at least 6gb of ram in an iPhone. It definitely needs it.

Does the fast charger not come in the box? Couldn't find out on the UK site but when you come to place an order, you can select a 30w warp charger for an extra £45.

This phone is going to be quite a hit. Looks pretty amazing. And the camera, while probably not the best, is perfectly adequate for 99.9% of the population.

2 back to back big time home run releases with the 3a and the OP7.

Both solid price points and fantastic peripherals for what you get.

I like the trend....until iPhone 11 comes out.

Iphone right now goes only to 4GB I believe, to be at 6, will need another couple of years maybe more, every year at keynote they will say the best iphone ever made.

Higher refresh rates could be a game changer but not until they can figure out the battery life trade-off. Not including wireless charging when you know the 90 Hz is gonna chug battery is a big mistake.

Curved glass and no wireless charging makes it a no for me. How can they possibly not have wireless charging in this day and age????

I also HATE curved displays and the reflection it causes when watching videos and the feel in the hand for me.

Personal items but other then those 2, its compelling for sure. Pixel 4 wait begins...
I can agree on the curved glass...never owned a phone with one and dont intend to. I dont get the big fuss about wireless charging though. With fast charging imo I dont see the big deal. The one plus 7 reaches 0-50 in 20 mins. I would rather that than to have it charge much slower wirelessly.

I get the convenience ...sort of. I've had wireless charging phones since the nexus 5 (2013) that I pre ordered and I've only used wireless charging once.

I guess for me I will go extended periods of time not using my phone because I choose not to. So if I need to charge I'll just charge then. My phone last me most days on one charge though...so plug in once at night and I'm good until the next night.

I assume maybe if you charge your phone multiple times throughout the day?

This is exactly it. I have wireless charges at my house in multiple spots, my desk and the biggest one for me is my car which is an awesome feature.

Its all about convenience and I dont charge my phone any other way so it would require me replacing all of those wireless options with wired/new equipment.

Could I last a full 24 hours without charging, probably but I love the flexibility and having my phone topped off in convenient locations.

Very personal preference but its my preference. :)
