Here’s another alternative the Vivo X300 series.

Some great colours too.

No band 71 support, no buy for me. I still need the phone to function primarily as a phone. Hopefully next year. Xiaomi is supporting it and now Oppo is too.

Since we are talking alternatives: RedMagic 11 Pro coming out just a week after the OnePlus 15. Love the idea of going back to a phone with flush cameras and the phone looks so nice, but... IPX8, an under-display selfie cam, no telephoto, and no eSIM.

OnePlus is going after the gaming market so it's gonna be a major change in design going forward.

Hasn't OnePlus already created its own chip, along with a kernel and an operating system? I heard that Huawei and Xiaomi have done this too.

I've already subscribed at OnePlus for early $50 off bonus plus whatever trade in perks and added gift they will offer.

Any word on the release date on the 15r? That's the one i'm interested in.

OnePlus lost its edge (and soul) after Carl Pei left, Oppo merged w/ OnePlus, and when they ditched Cyanogen OS.
Sorry, NSA and FBI but i'm a big fan of Chinese phones. The two phones Huawei Mate SE and the Honor 9X I purchased were great. The 9X was an international model. They had insane battery life even if they ran on Android. If you turned them off and left them off for several days or weeks, when you turned them back on, they encountered NO battery drain, unlike an iPhone or Pixel.

The problem here is that Oppo's are not sold in the US and that presents a problem with resale or trade in's. Whereas that's not the case with OnePlus phones. So even though Oppo phones are solid, they encounter a problem in the US market.

A revisit: OnePlus is currently the only vendor where you can get LineageOS on newer SoCs (e.g. Snapdragon 8 Elite). OnePlus Pad 3 especially could be appealing to people who want a big Android tablet. And being a tablet, you probably don't need banking apps working on it (some of which don't play nice with LineageOS, or any custom ROMs in general).

Has the price for the OP15 been revealed? I've seen the starting price for the base configuration anywhere between $599 and 899. The MSRP for the 13R was $599.

Save up to Trade In up to $899 has me thinking on the higher end

And my favorite one, because they actually do battery tests that aren't just video rundown tests:
