I wonder how many sales they missed on by not being able to handle the demand. I would've replaced my Nexus 4 with this phone a couple of months ago. Now, I'm leaning toward just waiting for the Nexus 6.

The OnePlus One looks amazing! Entered the contest; might get an invite! One thing though; do you think this phone is okay for a young teen?

Yes. There is no reason a teen could not use the phone. If anything it makes more sense to give them a ~$350 phone over a $650 iphone.

So I'm way late to the party. Truth is I was peeved at the whole invite thing and like a few others thought 'stuff that. They don't want my money.' But....now I really want to pick this phone up. So begging time....anyone got an invite?

They sent me another invite today for no reason. And it wasn't even one of the shareable ones that come from purchasing the device.

Unless these are going to a spam folder I havent gotten any and I signed up a long time ago.

Not sure if I'd purchase but would still like an invite.

i got my invite about 1-2 months ago but i have yet to get invites to share with friends.

I think OnePlus has given away nearly 200,000 invites so far (for those outside of China).

Not making a dent yet.

Was curious about the phone way back but never signed up on their site until yesterday morning. Luckily managed to get an invite roughly 45mins later thankfully.

Now have a Sandstone on order. Hopefully its a newer build and defect free.

(No i don't have any invites available to give away. Unfortunately.)

I've had the OPO for a week and and while it's a brilliant phone I can't transfer any large videos I record to my Mac to edit.
Android File Transfer has a limit for 4GB per file and I can't get my files to my computer.

Neither does the phone show up as DCIM camera folder when plugged into my system.

Try the app AirDroid. It may work for files bigger than 4GB, or any other Wi-Fi file transfer app in the Play Store.

I found the issue. It's that the 4GB file limit is due to Android uses the FAT file system. No way to bypass that.

The Phone also can't record any videos over 10 minutes, no matter what resolution you use.

So you either have a high quality 4GB video, or a 10 minute one. Nothing longer or larger. :(

Anyone buy the white one versus the Sandstone/Black?

I still do not have an invite though. Just prepping in case.

Well thats stupid. Will this change with Android L?
