Where can you buy the new 2400MHz DDR4 SDRAM? I don't see it for sale at any of the usual places like OWC or Crucial for the iMac.
Crucial's website has a configuator. Just pick the 2017 iMac from the menus and it will show the compatible RAM.

Mine dispatched in the last hour from Ireland. Woo!
Same here, i just woke up to a bunch of beeps (i guess those notification apps work) haha. it's 2:30 am here)

It is in Dublin now. I remember my powerbook in 2005 or 2006 going from ireland to germany to china to the uk to amsterdam. so.. UPS.. haha we will see. I have high hopes it goes straight to amsterdam, sits there in customs for a few days and ill have it on tuesday or wednesday

Was banging my hope to get it on sat. Until I saw my shipment was put on hold. Seriously DHL?

Don't panic, sometimes this is due to customs, or the weekend. In this case it could be both. They might not 'be moving it', waiting for the airplane tomorrow morning to move it to your area. Which puts it on hold too.

Mine is shipping to the store for pickup. Should be there June 15. Replacing a late 2009 iMac!!
Same here, I got a 24" early 2009 model :> Once the new one is setup i am using the suction cup and ifixit toolkit to remove the monitor and hdd, and dvd, and put in 2x ssd for a raid setup to get some extra life and speed out of it.
i wouldn't feel comfortable risking bricking it without having a replacement. now it will be tinkering time this summer!

[edit]

Just got the notification: Departure Scan Dublin. Yay, from arrive to depart, .. ok, so nothing will happen over the weekend I am confident, so monday it will probably continue .. maybe tuesday or wednesday if i am lucky.

Mine still stuck in China. Ordered on the 6th. It was shipped since 8th June but till now still stuck in China

BTO 27" estimated to arrive 6/15. According to the Apple rep, the BTO iMacs are built in CA. Given mine is still "processing," it should change to preparing to ship by Monday if I'm to get it on time

I am trying to resist the temptation to simply drive to the Apple store and buy the top end off the shelf configuration.

Cancel my pending order and have instant gratification.

o_O

Ordered on the 7th. Says it'll be delivered between the 15th and 17th to California. Still in "Processing Items" as of right now.

I placed my order (the high end 27" with 512 ssd) on friday, still in process. Never crossed my mind until the CUSTOMS was mentioned: we don't need to pay any import tax or duty here in Europe, do we?

My BTO iMac has arrived at my local delivery depot - but the delivery is not scheduled until Tuesday. I wonder if I will be pleasantly surprised tomorrow. Probably not... UPS are the worst courier I've ever had to deal with.
