Anyone in the UK seen anything move yet?
Well here is something interesting that I just heard from a co-worker here who is in charge of our shipping department here at work. His main contact at UPS is saying that next week UPS freight could be going on strike. I guess the teamsters are scheduled to have discussions with UPS on November 7-11. If an agreement can't be made then UPS freight is going on strike. He advised us to not schedule anything with UPS after the 7th, until the negotiations are done. If they go on strike then anything in the works will be stuck in limbo. Now, I do not know if this applies to these types of orders (our products here at my work are nothing like the things that Apple produces) but it would be very inconvenient if UPS were to go on strike. I would hope that FedEx would be able to take over if it comes to that. I'm just glad that I got release day delivery on all of my stuff now.
Lol, always one guy trying to freak people out.
I love following these threads when new stuff comes out. Everyone always has such anxiety. Honestly, the only time I ever really have a problem is when my order is coming from Verizon. When I order direct from Apple, everything always makes it on time or early.
I was definitely not in that group, but THIS year Verizon cancelled my XS and XS Max orders because I was one of the people who paid for it with Apple Pay from the Verizon app and there was some kind of bug going on with those orders that was causing them to be randomly cancelled. I called and got Verizon to re-do the order and still ended up having them on launch day, but MAN I was annoyed. You must not have been part of the iPhone fiasco a couple of years ago where a whole bunch of phones were held up in either China or Korea for several days (UPS was blaming customs I believe for a bit). It caused that whole group of people's phones to be delayed enough that we missed launch day delivery on Friday and at first they all were being delayed to the following Monday but Apple forced UPS to do Saturday delivery.
Last year my series 3 watch made it here and I could track it normally, but my wife's watch which actually shipped first didn't show any movement at all between the origin scan and import scan. Appeared to be stuck in China and then all of the sudden it appeared in Louisville the night before release day. Getting held up in customs in China and Korea happens quite often.

All my Apple stuff is coming FedEx. It seems like most folks are getting UPS. I wonder what’s up with that.Clever of UPS staff to select an Apple launch to strike! Way to force the issue!![]()
How do you know which is which? I have a .7k shipment and a .2k shipment. I’m assuming these are the 11” IPP and the ASK, which means the pencil hasn’t shipped yet, but maybe the .2k is the pencil? Now have arrival scan for my wife's pencil in Shangai and departure scans for both of our keyboard folios from Shenzen. I'm assuming the keyboards are just going to Hong Kong next. iPads themselves are still sitting at arrival scans in Hong Kong from several hours ago.
Awesome, thanks. So I’m going to assume my little package is the pencil and the other one is probably the ASK.Our 1.5kg packages has to be our 12.9 iPads. Our 1kg should be our keyboard folios and my wife’s pencil is .3kg.
Hmmm. Nothing yet using phone number. What was the trick with order number?I was able to retrieve my tracking number through UPS My Choice, but you can also look it up now by your 10 digit phone number!!! iPad is on the way! Waiting for my Folio case and pencil to ship though...

I was able to track mine by phone number on the UPS site. The keyboard and iPad are both in Hong Kong, and on their way. Apple still shows preparing to ship.
