Gonna speak to my local UK Store’s Business Manager tomorrow to see when he will have stock in.
When the MBP came out, I ordered online and had a long wait like most people who didn’t order straight away. My Business Manager had his own MBP stock for Business customers, so I ordered via him over the phone and then picked up from store. I cancelled my online order.
Hoping something similar might happen this time around!

My pencil is in Shanghai, China (9:20PM 11/01 arrival scan) and my iPad is not yet shipped but shipping label has been created today (11/02).
Pencil has a scheduled delivery of 7th but the iPad does not yet have a delivery. Both should be coming on the 7th going by Apple’s order page.
Pencil package is 0.2kg and iPad (11”) is 1.20kg.
My Smart Folio case is coming tomorrow.

We've seen that before in the iPhone pre-order forum. We think it's boilerplate text because sometimes customs can hold stuff up a bit so that is just to 'prepare' you for delays. It will keep moving along.
My pencil is “preparing to ship” and shows up in UPS system. It must be in the same shipment with your pencil (9:20pm arrival in Shanghai).
My keyboard folio is “preparing to ship” but does not show up in the UPS system yet.
IPad is still an “order in progress.”
I ordered my Pencil shortly after the event and haven't seen any movement at all (it is PFS and my card was charged yesterday) and nothing shows for tracking by reference number. I think I'm just suffering from Tracking Withdrawals after the iPhone order
Well, now my iPad is on its way to UPS, as of 30 minutes ago. EPZ, China scanned 4:29 AM 11/02
I expect to see it come to the US by Tuesday and then get shipped to delivery destination overnight for Wednesday morning delivery, similar to how all my iPhone preorders went. Now I have something to look at over the weekend

What City are you in? I am in CA in movement on my iPad.
I am in Northern VA, practically minutes from DC. My Apple orders come from Dulles airport directly to my local post office in the morning.
Mine is still processing but the pencil is preparing to ship. Neither seem to be showing up in my UPS though
case and pencil tried to be billed, and seems barclays have objected to it. tried changing the credit card and re-submitting, and those haven't gone through either. dagnamit!!
saw the case for the 12.9 Pro this morning. There's a cardboard insert which is the size/shape of the new iPad. I can't wait now - it's going to be incredible. The size will be good - you're all going to love it.

I have 3 packages (ipad, pencil, keyboard) each in 3 different cities in China: Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong, EPZ, China, Shanghai, China.
All of our stuff is in either shanghai or Hong Kong. Everything but my wife’s pencil is in Hong Kong.
Is the material on the folio similar to the Apple Smart Keyboards/Smart Covers of the past.
Pencil has now shown up on my ups but still preparing to ship on apple. The iPad itself has now moved to preparing to ship instead of processing. Located in canada
