clean my mac 3 works fine
That's a shame :) I really wouldn't recommend running any of these cleaning type things at all, but if you feel you must I definitely wouldn't recommend running them on beta software; it may trash something that had no use in Yosemite but is used in El Capitan.

Same comments for any anti-malware/virus software too. Just my opinion(s).

for all of us Java developers ...
By using Java SE Development Kit 8u45 I was able to launch:

- IntelliJ IDEA 15 EAP (build 142.2670.3), released on June 23rd, 2015
I didn't test it during heavy work, but I did encounter a few runtime errors (without Idea crashing) through. No go for myself personally yet.

- Eclipse Mars (4.5), 'Eclipse IDE for Java EE Developers' distribution package. Launched successfully. Didn't test it during work. Not my editor of choice. Still lacks support visually for retina displays.

Yea, somehow installing the SDK rather than just the runtime fixed pycharm for me as well. Any idea why that is? I had the same version installed, just not the SDK...

Anyways, thanks for the tip!

Caffeine was having issues on Beta 2 (shows on the menu bar, but does not override Energy Saver settings for screen dimming/going black), though I don't think I had this issue on Beta 1. Ah well, time to see if Beta 3 fixes it.

And Eclipse 4.5 is broken on DP3. IDEA 14 still works fine though.

IMessage does not work in OS X 10.11 Beta 3
can anyone confirm that?

Can you expand on why you don't run "cleaning type apps"? Even from the app store? Just curious on your opinion.

I just tried Outlook 2016 Preview and terrible display issues which were present in Beta 2, v 1.0 are no longer present in Beta 3, v 1.0. I did not do nearly enough testing to say with confidence that it is fully working - and working correctly, but I found it usable. I will do a more extensive test in the next day or two.

Well, it looks like most Java apps (e.g., Eclipse, CrashPlan) will freeze upon launch.

I've not found anything I need cleaning :) Coming from a Unix background I originally thought the filesystem would be full of temp files and logs but osx seems to take good care of itself. Although a well recommended cleaning app should be ok, unless it's certified/proven to run on your exact release there's no guarantee it won't delete something you might need.

Cisco AnyConnect VPN is functional but its companion app, Symantec PKI Client prompts PKIClientAgent error dialog box every few seconds (with "Unable to initialize Lua subsystem. Please contact your system administrator" message).

Yeah, I've noticed that too. Crashplan does seem to be still backing up but you can't launch the UI and I can't get any version of eclipse to launch. Bit of a shame as El Capitan has been stable enough to use as a daily driver up till now but not with that issue now.
The joys of beta software :)

I have some problems in the DP3 with Java based applications.
Some apps like 3T MongoChef won't open and report a Java error.

Furthermore, if i run the command java -v on terminal, it report that:

"Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine.
Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit."

I have already tried to reinstall JRE + JDK 1.8u45.

There appears to be a different issue with Java apps now on B3 though - it's not that they give you that error, but rather that they hang after loading
