Does anyone's MS Outlook 2011 becomes unable to search after upgrade to El Capitan? I'm one of them

I'm having the same issue. I tried a full re-index in Spotlight, but that had no impact.

Scrivener quit working for me with DP3. It now crashes immediately on startup. Really bummed, I may reinstall and go back to dp2

Before upgrading your OS X, do a Disk Repair and Permissions Repair. And why not, Reset PRAM.
That would save you some headaches.

For me, flash videos are overlaid with "Please upgrade your flash player," but I've installed the latest version of Flash and it still does not work...

I'll confirm it doesn't work in the latest beta (3).

The post says Scrivener works. It doesn't for me. Crashes when I load it up in El Capitan Public beta.

It worked in beta 2. It stopped working in beta 3. It is unfortunate that the first public beta (based on beta 3) is more problematic than the previous developer beta.

It's a known issue.

• Xcode versions prior to 7 are not supported on OS X El Capitan Beta 3.

Scrivener support has provided a solution to getting Scrivener working again:

1. Go to System Preferences > Security and Privacy.
2. Choose the last "Privacy" tab.
3. Choose "Contacts" from the list on the left.
4. On the right, where it says "Allow the apps below to access your contacts", un-tick "Scrivener".

Scrivener will then open as normal in Beta 3.

Carbon Copy Cloner has a beta version that will run on El Cap, haven't tried to run a backup for El Cap yet but the application does run.
