Scrivener support has provided a solution to getting Scrivener working again:

1. Go to System Preferences > Security and Privacy.
2. Choose the last "Privacy" tab.
3. Choose "Contacts" from the list on the left.
4. On the right, where it says "Allow the apps below to access your contacts", un-tick "Scrivener".

Scrivener will then open as normal in Beta 3.

Thank God!
And thank you! :)

Alternote is said to be working here, but it doesn't work for me on PB. Can open it, but unable to move the window or type into the note pane.

Edit: Fixed it by signing out and back in to reauthorise against evernote.

Just downloaded the beta tonight, here's what's working so far that's not on the list yet:

Audio Hijack Pro
Bitdefender Virus Scanner
Blackmagic Disk Speed Test
Boxer
Disk Sensei
Doomseeker
DOSBox
DVDpedia
Gamepedia
Grand Theft Auto San Andreas
Handbrake
Hex Fiend
iPhoto (that's right!)
Kega Fusion
Keka
MacScan
Mactracker
MakeMKV
Paintbrush
Spark
UnRarX
Wine
Xee
Zandronum

And what doesn't work:

NovaBench (just displays totally white windows and has to be force quit)

EDIT: Added everything to the list now.

Outlook for Mac 2011 does not work on my Macbook. It starts but frozen. (with Exchange accounts)

I've also noticed that Flux seems to be freaking out every few minutes or so, it'll turn off then turn itself back on after about a second or so.

Adobe CC 2015 apps (Illustrator and Photoshop, at least) seem to be holding up for me. They're a little sluggish to open files and start up, but I can't tell if that's normal and the rest of the apps are optimized and faster. Not sure if anyone else can confirm, but I think they're working fine.

For me only thing that does not work is Skype app. I can open it, however, I cannot log into my MS account. When i give wrong password it shows that it is wrong, however, when I give the right password it freezes.

MacTeX works only if you update to the 2015 version and configure all the apps that expect to find stuff in /usr/texbin to use /Library/TeX/texbin instead.

Any word on Box Sync? God I really rely on that...

I contacted Box support who didn't provide much help, "Unfortunately, Box Sync isn't supported on any operating system that is still in a Beta phase. As soon as the OS is released, we will be able to support Box Sync, but unfortunately we cannot support Box Sync until the release is ready to go live by Apple."

Somewhat understandable, as they don't want to have to answer to support questions. But this doesn't mean they shouldn't be getting their product ready to work under the Beta and be ready on time for the final release.

Anyone check if the following Steam games are compatible with PB1?

Team Fortress 2
Portal 2

When I start them in my PB1 VM, TF2 and Portal 2 fail to start because the graphics requirements are not met, although I suspect that this may just be due to the fact that I am attempting to start them in a virtual machine.

Note: I was able to get Kerbal Space Program started. But it lags so much it is unplayable, may just be due to the fact that it;s in a VM.

WhackyNinja my Steam downloaded TF2, P2, and KSP fine.

EDIT: TF2 works fine, but shake to enlarge mouse is annoying when playing a first person shooter.

MS Office 2016 for Mac (office 365) apps are working for me. Can't say for outlook though as I don't use it.

Has anyone installed the Supplemental Update from today? Does that enable Box Sync to work? I had to revert back to Yosemite last night since Box Sync didn't work.
