Working for me (that may not be listed above (also can't seem to edit that post)):
(Legit Adobe CC)
• Adobe After Effects CC
• Adobe Flash CC
• Adobe illustrator CC
• Adobe InDesign CC
• Adobe Photoshop CC
• Adobe Premiere Pro CC
• Espresso
• Fetch
• Adapter
• Handbrake

Not Working:
• SwitchResX (Program/Settings do launch. But it is not changing my LG Ultrawide monitor any more)
• Box Sync
Do you have problem with Premiere? Especially with rendering?

MacTeX works only if you update to the 2015 version and configure all the apps that expect to find stuff in /usr/texbin to use /Library/TeX/texbin instead.

Thanks for this, and to expand for other people, when you fire up TeXShop go to preferences then under the engine tab change the first path from /user/texbin to /Library/TeX/texbin.

After applied El Capitan Beta 3, only Java is broken, after applied Supplemental Update ... even official apps like Mail, Safari ... all broken ...
NOTE: do not install Supplemental Update ... you'll regret.

And then they try to copy that crappy feature from Windows 10, split screen? (what the hell do you need split screen when your device don't support touch screen, it's so stupid !!!

I installed the Supplemental Update on two machines and didn't have issues (although this being a beta, everyone's systems will be different). As for the split-screen feature, a feature like this existed in Windows 7, and I think it makes Apple's full screen mode much more useful, especially for those with larger displays (I can throw two apps on a "space" now or even multiple windows of the same app next to each other - great for some of the web-based monitoring tools we use at work.)

Regarding XQuartz,

Tested it and cannot confirm it doesn't work in PB1. Rootless is turned on and it installed without any problems. It seems to be working fine. I only have to investigate why I can't start a remote x11 session, it might also be the remote machine or some setting ($DISPLAY for example).

The issue and reason for turning off rootless is that XQuartz wants to install links /usr/X11 and /usr/X11R6 to the actual install at /opt/X11. Rootless prevents the creation of these links. X applications that expect to find the runtime libraries at /usr/X11 or /usr/X11R6 will not run. Applications that expect libraries at /opt/X11 will run fine without these links.

On my PB1 box both the /usr and the /opt links exist. At least in PB1 rootless does not prevent the creation of such links. On a second note, iirc the /usr links already exist on the system.

Managed to get my remote X11 sessions resolved btw. It now runs xeyes and other X11 apps over my ssh connection  As far as I can tell Xquartz works without any problems in 10.11 PB1.

Sounds like the issues have been fixed. Only /usr/local was modifiable inside /usr in earlier betas.

I have not been able to get Winclone to work under the beta. If someone else can confirm, that would be great, but I used it to make a back up before I installed the beta and attempted to run it again after install and for some reason it gets all the way till you choose a location and then won't go any further.

I would love to know which distribution of Wine is reported to be working, because I find that both Wineskin and PlayOnMac are broken, due to the internal loader script's use of DYLD_FALLBACK_LIBRARY_PATH to include the Wine libraries folder, which seems to fail for gdi32.dll.so attempting to dlopen the libfreetype.6.dylib. Thus, text fails to render using TrueType/OpenType fonts. The only things that actually work are the Mac frontend dialogs, which use native Cocoa dialogs.

TrueCrypt works on 10.11. I installed it using the same special instructions needed to install it on Yosemite and all is well.

txs SandboxGeneral ;-) and what "special instructions" you mean?? Do you have a hint?
Installation notes:
Simply running the .mpkg will give you a Javascript error.
1) Open the .dmg
2) You’ll find the .mpkg. Right-click and “Show Package Contents”
3) Open Contents Dir
4) Open Packages Dir
5) Install each of the 4 packages in this order: OSXFUSECore.pkg, OSXFUSEMacFUSE.pkg, MacFUSE.pkg, TrueCrypt.pkg (It is possible MacFUSE.pkg will install the two before it, but we ran each to play it safe.). That’s it; it’s Truecrypt has been working fine for us using this method.

hi, after simple testing, it looks like Cubase elements 8.0.2 is working. I hope that means that Cubase pro works as well.

I up to El Capitan PB yesterday. I use Microsoft Outlook 2011 for E-mail. It goes into “spinning beach ball mode” when I launch it. I rebuilt the database and it doesn't resolve the problem. Today I tried to use Outlook Web Access using Safari and it launches and I can read E-mail. However, when I try to create a new E-mail or reply to an E-mail it goes into “spinning beach ball mode”.

The recent beta version of CCC (Carbon Copy Cloner) seems to be working well. I'm using it to clone my 10.11 install to a remote disk connected to a Mac Mini on my network.

Me too. Trying to get MP3tag to work. Anybody have a solution yet?
