same here! been working fine before this beta.
it just crashed when i tried to "save as ..." my bachelor thesis under a different name. nearly got a heart attack, thank god it was just meant to be a copy.
edit: oh now it just froze and crashed when i simply pressed the save button as well. back to the old office for now
Is anyone having issues with CLEAR app for Mac synching with iCloud? The app is working fine on my iPhone 6 and iPad mini but no luck on my MBP. Reading the review comments from the app store it appears this is an issue for quite a few people whether they're using beta software or not. It's been a few days since I've gone over this thread so apologies if I missed anything relative to my question.
Norton Internet Security version 5.7.1f9, download from Comcast for Comcast subscribers won't install on Beta 4. Pervious version stopped working and acted as though partially installed. Update: NIS came back after restart. Per this thread: https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...er-installing-el-capitan-public-beta.1899734/, I did an uninstall. NB: Norton web page doc is wrong - uninstaller is located in HD > Library > Application Support > Symantec folder. Network connections now working properly.

ugh. Affinity Photo is definitely cranky in PB4; it gets stuck regularly; have to force-quit (and start over). back to photoshop!
While the Beta update stops it from crashing on launch, I am finding that most of the appointments I add to it do not stick, so be careful to double check that things stay
TomTom MyDrive software will not function properly, and if anyone uses a Vodafone USB 3G device the "NetManager" software on Mac won't install - making it useless.

you should let everyone know:
1. this does not replace "affinity photo", it installs alongside it. (EDIT: i see it's been added info).
2. do NOT delete affinity photo or the beta won't run.
just found these things out myself.
and important to know.will test the beta today, but an odd one; usually a beta is (at least, in my experience), an updated app replacing the original app. meanwhile, anyone else with thoughts? or observations on how it's running?

Same problem. And even when it logs in, it doesn't track read article. So I have to reload the page after login. Then it works.

Some early adopters of El Capitan have identified incompatibility that is being investigated by Extensis at this time. Critical issues will be identified and resolved in upcoming compatibility updates once Apple releases their final version to the public in Fall 2015.
In the meantime, we suggest that you only use the supported Mac OS X operating systems and not run El Capitan on live production machines.

Gemini Duplicate Scanner from MacPaw doesn't work anymore with the latest betas. It starts, but the window does not appear, only the menu.
I have that issue with both versions (AppStore and Non-AppStore).
Seems there is no functional beta at this time, because I got only the following answer and not a download link like once as I reported that CMM3 does not work:
"The problem you're experiencing is a compatibility issue between Gemini and the latest El Capitan betas. Our developers are working on resolving this issue, and an update is expected in the nearest future."
