bartender's just been updated to work with SIP enabled; a couple of reboots, and works. am sure we'll see other system-level apps with the same approach, sort-of the best of both worlds (changing what we want, AND running SIP)...

Widgets (in my case Calendar, Reminders & Stocks) now working fine in DB6.

Also, and I believe the issue was related, adding events to the Calendar from e.g. iMessage now works.

Safari is faster (I didn't say snappier; I'm original, me). In fact, everything is faster. Nice one.

Whenever I try and sync books to my phone, I can see the syncing process (the circular status icon) but once it finishes, the book promptly deletes itself. Anyone else dealing with this?

Illustrator CC 2015 is working again in DP6.

Just had my first run in with unintentional consequences with SIP. The Fiery Daemon was running and crashing over and over. Using the Fiery uninstall software did not remove it. Could not remove it with Finder as it was "Required for Mac OS X to run". Could not remove it with sudo rm in terminal either. Had to disable SIP to remove non OS software. Pretty sure that wasn't the intention.

Has uTorrent 1.9.0 recently stopped working for anyone else?

Update: The uTorrent versioning is ridiculous. I "upgraded" from 1.9.0 to 1.8.7 and everything is working fine now...

DP6 fixed most of the graphical glitches with running Civ V in native 5K resolution, but some glitches with leader animations remain. Some are entertaining, whilst others will hard lock up your computer :/

At least with a reboot time of ten seconds it's not even that painful.

Xcode 7 beta 4, can't seem to compile stuff or run in simulator, hoping Apple releases an updated Xcode today.

Steam works but some features like the Steam Overlay do not work on El Capitan which is a big issue since you cannot use marketplace without overlay and other features.

I'm reading all the posts but I would just like to make sure about a few apps. Can anyone who has the latest beta tell me if the following apps work properly? and if not what kind of issues they showed?

- Final Cut Pro
- Logic Pro
- MS Word 2016 (or even 2011)
- MS Excel 2016 (or even 2011)
- Mail
- Calendar (with Google account)
- Safari
- iBook

Please let me know, I really really want to install the PB, but I want to make sure the apps I use daily will mostly work fine. Thank you! :D

Logic X?? it's fine here; the only thing i've seen (in PB3 and now PB4), is...sometimes, when i go to Bounce, the window is white, and i have to click where the cancel button SHOULD be (!) to close that window; on next open, it's all good...

Thanks, that's good to know! Nothing major then :) Hopefully someone will let me know about the other apps and then I'll be ready to install!

Very, very strange situation. Yesterday I downloaded and installed PB4, restarted my iMac, everything seems ok. But, when I open App Store, last update is PB3 from 29th July and there is no updates available. Where's PB 4 gone? Anyone has similar issue?

Is anyone having issues with Feedly staying logged in using Safari 9.0 (11601.1.43) in Public Beta 4? Every time I relaunch Safari, Feedly is logged out. I have tried allowing cookies from anywhere and "Do Not Track" is disabled. I tried with both Google and Microsoft auth; the result is the same.

I do not have the issue with Chrome or Firefox, nor did I experience it prior to Public Beta 4.
