These company's should be releasing updates even during beta to make sure these applications work. Love how they just abandon you because they are not updating their software before the full version is released.

Well truth be told 1) most people aren't really supposed to be using beta versions, and 2) Apple keeps on changing stuff (which is what betas are about) and software vendors don't really feel like assigning resources to a project that might work in beta 3 but not anymore in beta 4. I have no clue how many people install a beta, 1%? 1.5%? -- but I can completely understand why software doesn't get weekly updates.

I wish Reason worked properly in El Capitan PB4, I would switch to El Cap on my main hard drive. Alas, it doesn't work. It worked in PB3. It might just start working by itself in PB5 again. While generally I think the stance "if you don't like it, don't use it" is Apple fanboyism at its worst mixed with a healthy dose of Stockholm syndrome, in case of beta software I actually agree with it.

Not Working:
Engine 3 (Hardware List & Library do not load and Siberia headsets not set as default output by OSX anymore ie: plug & play broken)
Steam (Steam Overlay is broken so no access to market place and other features that require this it seems OSX 10.11 has a new accessibility permissions bug that prevents the layer from working)

not sure if anyone's mentioned it, but Vox is acting weird here; when i go to play something, it stalls, the soundcloud icon flashes...sometimes i have to hit pause, then play again...and then music plays...

If you use CleanMyMac 3.0 Beta 1-3 don't install the update to Version 3.1 Beta 1 before you do a backup.

For me it does not work anymore. Only a grey spot appears in the middle of the screen and the menu is available, where I sent a bug report.

Edit: Just installed the final version of 3.0.3. It's says that it's not supposed for 10.11 and i have to use the newest version.

Downcast technically works, but after a few minutes it uses over 100% of the CPU and requires force-quitting.

I've had steam overlay disabled since it stopped working in the OS X 10.10 betas (way back). I've never required to put it back on for any reason. I can still purchase games…?

Gemini Duplicate Scanner from MacPaw doesn't work anymore with the latest betas. It starts, but the window does not appear, only the menu.

I have that issue with both versions (Appstore and Non-Appstore).

Seems there is no functional beta at the time, because I got only the following answer and not a download link like once as I reported that CMM3 does not work:

"The problem you're experiencing is a compatibility issue between Gemini and the latest El Capitan betas. Our developers are working on resolving this issue, and an update is expected in the nearest future."

Greetings from MacPaw!

The OS you're using is not quite suitable for the purpose of daily use as the main OS as it may contain errors that prevent or limit normal use (including compatibility issues with third-party software), and the system is subject to frequent changes.

Changes introduced in El Capitan Beta 6 triggered the compatibility issue you're experiencing at the moment. This is new, and our developers need time to modify Gemini and release a Beta-compatible version of the app.

We expect the update to be available later this week. We've already submitted update on AppStore, now we're waiting for their answer. :)

Yes, we've faced new issues with recent update of the beta 3.1.0b1, however we've prepared an update. Please email us on: support@macpaw.com and we'd be glad to provide you with this build.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Noticed Microsoft released some updates to Outlook 2011. Any one know if there are still spinning beachballs when launching this app?

Seems My Outlook updated the other day. Since then, it's unusable. It just hangs and crashes. I've tried re-installing with no luck

Nice to hear someone is listening.

To me this is very disheartening. This should just work. Seems like we are going backwards.

Agreed, though I'm assuming the office updates are geared toward 10.10 and not El Cap. Part of playing the beta game I suppose but I could really use a stable version of Word. Luckily I can pull out the '09 MacBook but it's just not as much fun haha!
