I just got it on my GSM Galaxy Nexus OTA. I still haven't gotten it yet on my Nexus 7. BTW NYC.

Anyone successfully running VLC v0.1.2 on Jelly Bean 4.3? I've updated my original Nexus 7 and VLC plays audio only on files that played previously.

*EDIT*

Well it seems it's rectified on GIT but the new version 0.1.3 is not the play store as of yet.

In case anyone else runs into this, I sideloaded one of the nightly apk's and it working.

Got it this morning way over here in Singapore (GMT+8) for my Nexus 4. I have to say, I can't feel that much of a difference. I suppose most of the changes are under the hood. Only exception is the camera app: I can see some simplifying changes to the editing options.

I've had it on both of my N4s for a day now, and... it's fine. I'm not noticing any amazing improvements, nor any real issues, and I've re-rooted them both. I like the camera changes, but other than that, I honestly don't think I'd have noticed if it were changed (and re-rooted) without me knowing - it's just so similar to 4.2.2. Side-by-side might show obvious improvements, and battery life might improve, but it's not so major that you need to rush out and try to get it (unlike 4.2, which had some cool new stuff).

I have it on my old N7, and I like the features around app restrictions, as the kids and I both use that one. On the new N7, it's all I've ever known. ;) But... it's very nice, just lost in the overall awesomeness of the new N7.

I got it yesterday on my Nexus 4. Feels much faster which is great because it was never slow to begin with. Battery is also MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH better!

Glad to hear it. Getting conflicting reports on battery life. But I hope you are right!

Nothing. Its been 4 days and still no update. This is also a Nexus 7, a tablet built by Google. If you ask me its sad they haven't figured out how to update on time.

Oh well back to my mini I go !:apple:

Clearing cache on GSF might break your Google account, I don't recommend that. Just follow the guide I posted a few pages back:

If you can't be assed to wait for the OTA:

  • Download the correct 4.3 image for your device here
  • Extract the .tgz file and look for the .zip
  • Put the .zip on your device
  • Flash it from recovery like any other ROM
  • Enjoy!

Do you guys even flash?!? haha

I have 4.3 up and running, rooted, on my Nexus 7. However I'm selling it on eBay because I want to get the new Nexus 7. I read alot and the HD screen helps!

Can anybody confirm the emoji's on 4.3? I can't get them on my Nexus 7 even when I enable the emoji keyboard. Might be phones only
