Thank you for giving cog a much needed update. It seems all of the links to 10.7+ and source code are dead, except for the first post for V1.0 (1). Could you post a link for the newer versions. I'm running 10.10.5. Thanks Again. Cog 2016 (2) Rocks!

Hi Vivo,

Many thanks for amazing piece of your work. This app is great.

Last version however got weird bug and I wonder if you can reproduce it.
File drawer covers partially playlist. In my case it covers "No" and half of "Title", and yet drawer it self is not functional. Can't be scrolled or moved or folder closed or opened. Version from Wednesday at 12:09 PM (2017-15) works just fine.

I've discover that "Set as Playlist" doesn't work from version Thursday at 1:00 PM. Returned to previous and all fine.

PS: Would be possible when clicked "Set as Playlist" Phonix will replace and play selected playlist?
PS2: Would you mind add version number when new app released?

Kind Regards
Thom

Hi Thom,

Thanks for the compliment.

Maybe you need to trash ~/Library/Preferences/org.vs.phonix.plist when Phonix is not open.

Could be an old plist problem you're facing.

ps1 i'll see
ps2 ok

Hi Thom,
Maybe you need to trash ~/Library/Preferences/org.vs.phonix.plist when Phonix is not open.

Could be an old plist problem you're facing.

I've removed all configuration data using AppCleander but no joy, and then I've tried to remove config file from terminal, but after cleaning by AppCleaner there is no such file there. Interesting fact is that when I run newer version of Phonix, even all configuration are removed, Phonix asks to delete old config and better yet you can see previously added music to playlist. Weird isn't it? Please see screenshot, shot just after I've cleaned all config files (end removed playlist queue).

Thanks
Thom

@Thom,

I think I found the cause for the filedrawer and fixed it.

Also made a webbrowser remote control option (default on, see preferences)

goto: http://ip-of-your-mac:2017 (port 2017) and see a preliminary remote control support. Transport works

Hi Vivo,

Last 2017-19 version works much better, thanks for your effort.

I found however two little little things which you might fix someday:
- FX button behave like a on/off switch (blue/grey) but a windows it's opening doesn't follow pressing the switch. I mean you need to close it. BTW I don't use this so, just reporting what I've noticed.
- flac covers are not displayed. Can Phonix read cover from album folder if those are not inside music files? This might be tricky as for example I'm naming covers by album names, so name is different every time. However considering renaming all covers to folder.jpg or something very standard.

Thanks
Thom

Hi Thom

cover.jpg, folder.jpg, album.jpg or front.jpg is supported but only inside the same directory of the album.

Yes fx button is a little bug. Will check it
