E-10.jpeg

My long lost E-10, was sitting in my son's garage for years. One major problem was the OEM battery that went in the auxiliary compartment. Battery began to swell as I tried to charge it. Olympus stop making them in 2005, which means even if I had found one, it wouldn't last and they were terribly expensive ($300). So I made my own out of two 3.7v lithium batteries which have built in charging connection and used DC input on the camera. Total investment was $40. Other problem was textured rubber on the grip had deteriorated and was very sticky, just peeled it off and cleaned off adhesive with lighter fluid. I know it is only 4 megapixels, but has sentimental value. Saw the previous photos and ran out and snapped this on the back of my motorcycle.
