For those of us that can't eat the sugary stuff anymore.

I admit I am surprised by all the cats here. And so few dogs. We need @Alexander.Of.Oz to come back and start posting photo of his pupper. And any other photos he wants. I miss him.
Agree. And his wonderful photos. That’s the trouble with forums. You talk to somebody everyday then suddenly they disappear.

Part of my workday lunch - hot pepper (Serrano or jalapeno), tomato, cucumber and carrots. No cats were used in the making of this picture.

For a while now I'd been thinking of going through my archives and just going ahead and deleting the unprocessed JPEG (from really long ago) and RAW files -- but now I am glad that I haven't done that since a couple of times for this thread I've quickly had a look through and found something worth hurriedly editing and submitting. Guess I'll be hanging on to those old unprocessed files a while longer.....

There's gold on them thar archives!

I have deleted some older digital photos, but that was because lack of skill on my part led to poor pictures. A lot of the pictures I took at the Air Force Museum back in 2009 were so murky / dark that they weren't worth keeping or sharing. Even the ones I kept, and have shared, are still darker than I like but you can at least see the plane or missile.

Ideally when one is first getting ready to review and edit their digital images they should cull the batch first, immediately discard and delete the no-good ones and keep only the ones which look worthwhile to spend time on in processing. Unfortunately, I'm one of those who is always so eager to look through and immediately start editing the images that I really like that I tend to skip the culling step and as a result have a bunch of large unprocessed RAW files along with the images I actually did edit. I always think that I'll get to the culling "later," but somehow "later" never comes.....
