well, it is almost 5pm PDT/8pm EDT and here is the result of the challenge:I'm enjoying seeing pictures not of pets, so I want to issue a challenge to the entire group.
Let's take the next 24 hours and not post any dog or cat picts, while at the same time not reducing the number of posts we make.
The challenge starts now and ends at 8:00pm US EST or midnight GMT on April 2. (Yes. I know that is 24 hours and 40 minutes, but it's my challenge. )
I am sorry and saddened that you feel that way, and I do believe that you are not speaking for everyone.Ah, but there WAS yet another bloody cat photo posted in today's POTD!
Please, people, enough, just enough!!! Please just STOP already with the darned cat photos?!! Pretty please just cease and desist ANYWhere with them on the Digital Photography subforum.....put 'em up on the Pictures Gallery if you feel the compelling need to share.....
I'm very proud of all of us.well, it is almost 5pm PDT/8pm EDT and here is the result of the challenge:
1. no cat or animal pictures posted
2. 25 pics posted vs 18 during the preceding 24 hrs
So, the challenge was met.
It is worth to note though, out of the 25 pics, 21 were car or car part related (not counting the pic of the locomotive).
I count 17 car/truck pictures. I guess it's a question of how you interpret some of them. Two of my pictures were about public servants. The vehicles were incidental. Regardless, it was fun to see other stuff.well, it is almost 5pm PDT/8pm EDT and here is the result of the challenge:
