Captain Trips has the correct pointer. I think it's the grain of the photo, the 'smudge' providing the 'mud'

Another singleton - wishing I had a better zoom ;
I do like the structure in this picture, though, even if you couldn't zoom in more on the bird.
More ducks, this time at the Battelle Darby Creek Park in Columbus.
Like the guys in my photo above yours, those are Canada Geese, not ducks...... The ones in the post below yours, now yeah, as a t-shirt I used to have said, "M R Ducks".
And here's another duck, a juvenile mallard, struggling to get up on a submerged log....

No. It is from the atrium of an office building or hospital. The EXIF says I shot it about 15 years ago.

I zoomed in and saw the flag. First few letters are E M B. So it could be Embassy. ?and you don't remember anymore???
