Wow, in the last 15 minutes I have been researching tilt-shift images like a madman. This is exceptional!!! I will definitely go try it out.
For now, check out this video I stumbled across: Not only does it feature one of my favorite artists (Radiohead's Thom Yorke), but it features MOVING FOOTAGE in 'Tilt Shift' perspective!! (Sorry if you have already seen it)..

Thats a great video! It took a ton of work! It looks like they basically edited every frame with the tilt-shift method and then put it back together, and added other things...its a fun technique and i have some more works i will post later lol
EDIT: It works best when you take the picture looking down at something, it gives the feel of really looking at a model. Here are a few linkys for you to check out.

Thanks for the links !
I'm all excited about trying tilt/shift out now..
Wow, those just blow my mind..
I looked at this shot and thought, "hey, that looks familiar, hey they had the vancouver Sun Run this past weekend, hey that's around the corner from my place!" At least I believe it's English Bay, correct me if I'm wrong.
If so, did you get any other shots of English Bay? I love going there for great sunset pics.
That's a really great shot. I love his facial expression - "ahh it's closing in from both sides"
So many great surf shots here I'm gonna give it a go.
Here's one for today.. (I was watering my mothers flower garden and got all crazy with the "mist" setting on the hose.. Then realized that the flowers looked really nice for it )
Hey ipodtoucher, have you ever tried to do an HDR picture with the Tilt-shift lens? A few of my office colleagues are curious to see if anybody has tried it, we haven't had much luck finding examples that weren't HDR's with fake tilt shift effect.Haha I totally enjoy making Tilt-Shift pictures...Here's another two for ya
This one is a little fuzzy, but I took it from the window of the Washington Monument, so I have an excuse haha..

Cool! Good luck with that, and be sure to post the results!Well I've never tried, and there tilt-shift photos i used were JPEG format and HDR works best with Raw...I assume you would just apply the HDR in Photomatix and then apply the tilt-shift technique in Photoshop...I am going back to DC this weekend and will hopefully get some good pics to try it, since now i only shoot RAW hahaha...i will definitely give it a try and see how it turns out...
It's an interesting technique. I posted a few using tilt-shift a couple of weeks ago in this thread.Funny how the tilt shift effect is becoming popular all of a sudden...
