Are you a professional wildlife photographer? Some of your stuff just blows my mind it is just so amazing! View attachment 1992844
Thank you a lot! I’m glad that somebody likes my photos.

I would not call myself a ‘professional’ as I am not making any profit from it. But I like wildlife and nature a lot, and this has been my main subject for some years now. If I can share my work and let others see animals and things in a way I see them through my pictures, and make people smile or having positive emotions - I am happy too. :)

Beaver Creek Greenway, Cary, NC. Our area is phenomenal for walking paths, greenways, and parks. Just about every sub division neighborhood has town maintained greenways, many interconnected throughout the town. I have lived all over the USA and imo this is the best place I have ever lived. Voted one of the top places in the US to live every year.

Our lilacs just may have bloomed on Easter had it not been in the 30s all day!

I grew up in Binghamton, NY and we had Lilacs in our front and back yard. Some of the most fragrant blossoms ever. They are one of the things I miss about the North East. We don't have them here in the Cary, NC area. We do have Crape Myrtle trees that look similar but no fragrance at all.:(

Yeah, we can grow those here in the Midwest, but they often freeze to the ground on cold winters. They just end up being a shrub, but nice all the same. My grandma’s old home had a lilac hedge that was a mix of the traditional purple, but also white. Made for a nice hedge this time of year!
