🏡 Steve Job's House - Part II 🏡

Location: Waverley Street. Palo Alto, California 94301.

This is the front view of the house. You can clearly see the dual windows, which contain Steve Jobs's master bedroom, The fire pit inside the living room area along with the main entrance of the house to your left. The house is well hidden by the grass and tree branches.

Overall, this is a magical house. I'm pretty sure all the high-level Apple execs along with Steve Jobs's close friends have been at this house. They have visited him personally.

Currently, if you ever plan to visit this house you will also see gardeners and workers maintaining the house very well.

? Steve Job's House - Part I ? Steve purchased this home in Palo Alto in the mid-1990s. He lived in this house for over twenty years. He held a lot of business meetings in this house (including on weekends) and eventually passed away here on October 5, 2011, surrounded by his close family...

Persian Silk Tree or Pink Silk Tree. They are beautiful and we have a ton of them around here, but they are native to southwestern and eastern Asia. We have a lot of Bamboo here too, also indigenous to Asia.

Yes, it appears it is also called Mimosa, and Chinese Silk Tree, or just Silk Tree. A pretty tree of many names.

Interesting phone number. MT has only one area code for the whole state (406) and back then Butte had only one first set of numbers (723). So 4 digits was all anyone needed to know.

Yeah, where I grew up, they spread easily on their own and grow fast. A really cold winter can do them in, and they don’t seem to live very long in general, but at least they are fairly easy to cut down when they are dead. They are really unique trees with the very fine leaves and pink flowers.

Same in NJ when I young, our number was Pilgrim 4-0055 or PI4-0055 when dial was coming about, NJ started with 201 area code. NYC wanted the quickest ac to dial, so they got 212.

wow, someone else remembers the 201 and 212 origin stories... as for 212, all boroughs besides Manhattan changed to 718 in the 80s IIRC. It all went downhill shortly after that with 917, 347, 646 and probably more.

I raised 4 orphan Possums and as they liked leftover pasta I decided they must be Italian descent so named them Vito, Luigi, Michelangelo and Maria ( I thought one at least must be a girl). When they were able I let them loose in the backyard.

Too bad we don't have several ways of saying:
I love this photo ?
I loved that you saved the 4 orphans?
and it made me laugh your choice of names?
