mystery object in the sky:

Noticed it while getting the washing in. Pics were taken with my iphone mini so not the best, with the second one zoomed in.

It was kinda eerie..as for a long time it hadn't appeared to movie.

A weather balloon perhaps..but today with satellites..who would still use those??
Satellites have a very short view window and then they have to orbit the planet again. Balloons have a long loiter time. That's why they're used for spying and weather and such.

Didn’t know that Homer Simpson had a lake called by his name😁

I like this photo.
Beautiful lake and interesting cloud. It’s very calm and peaceful. And also with the bench on the right, where you can sit and relax😊
I was there with one of my grandsons fishing I took/take them there on regular basis over the years. It is a beautiful county park with trails, forests and this nice lake

We had 4 1/3 acres that we mowed along with many gardens. Bare land in background was a 37 acre farmers field. We had a John Deere garden tractor with power steering and hydraulic lift for the deck. Mowing deck had a bagging attachment which made lawn look spectacular for a couple days until the weeds came back up! The gardens were my wife's domain, we took turns mowing, usually fighting over who gets to spend many hours for time to think.

I am originally from upstate NY and Lilacs were also my favorite. They don't have them down here in NC and I miss them terribly.
I was well into middle age before I figured out how special they are. I'm very lucky now my neighbor's lilacs droop over my stoop; while in the backyard the other neighbor's clump has spread to our yard too. Endlessly fascinating with a macro lens, and I just love the scent.

We had several in our yard, always special.
