Podgie - I like that shot. Good angle, keep shooting. Camera quality isn't as important as composition.
Since we're on to dragon flies I'll post one of my shots as well.
Awesome detail and colors Pigbat!

As for my pic of the day... One of the many types of dragonflies I can find around my cottage in northern Ontario.

I like what I see! Finally the bugs are catching on! And since everyone else is on the subject of dragonflies, here's mine! I plan to print this out poster-size and put it up on my wall. I love the detail in the eyes.
<Lovely portrait>
There was a storm, well I call it a storm because I live in California, locals will probably call it light drizzle.
I love the eye detail. That will make a great poster.

Taken Monday 8/4. There was a storm, well I call it a storm because I live in California, locals will probably call it light drizzle. Whatever it was, it was the best trip ever.
Great photo. What are those twisting streams connecting the clouds and buildings? Bizarre!
C&C Appreciated
I think it's something from the HDR, unless you mean the signature.Great photo. What are those twisting streams connecting the clouds and buildings? Bizarre!
I do not know if Phrasikleia is speaking of the signature or the effect of the HDR technique. I will say that in many of the images the skyscrapers that reach past the horizon all had a glow around them, a backlight type thing. It wasn't planned nor preventable as far as I could tell. Here's the original color version, no signature, no HDR, etc.OMG... it's a signature in the sky...
