Thanks Tom. It's me. I have no idea how to embed a picture from flickr. I'm trying to separate out forum type imagery from my SmugMug site.

Any clues for both the flickr end and on the forum here, in regards to getting an image up is greatly appreciated and thanked in advance. o_O

I see, no worries! So far I've been attaching images as files as I don't have an online presence yet due to thinking my images are not strong enough.

I hope many people who use Flickr will be able to help as many share through Flickr with lovely, large thumbnails :).

As for not being good enough for Flickr, you are more than qualified.

Have to agree with AFB there!

On Flickr you click on the image you wish to share, then in the bottom left click on the arrow/ box icon for share. Copy the link from the dialogue box, then paste it into your post on here.

Thanks for that AFB, but when doing that I get the following, which then gives me a mystery box with a question mark in it, on the forum here!

Care to elaborate?

I tried to quote a post with a photo and hit the wrong icon. Only had a link in the reply. Couldn't edit the photo in so I just deleted it as best I could. Some of us are sooo set in our ways...
As Sheldon Cooper said about Windows 7 "I tried it and it was too user friendly".

Nice to have found this forum (I didn't realize Macrumors had so many subforums.. maybe the UI update helped). Enjoying all your photos!

Here's another country landscape. I took this one with my 5C last fall. I remember it was shortly after iOS 8 launched and the first time I used the new editing features they added to the Photos app.

"The Long Way"

One from this morning, that I'm going back very soon for in the twilight. It was really gloomy and overcast today and this was the best light I caught whilst waiting for the Brother-in-law and his new wife to return from Japan where they had their wedding.

Now thats an interesting image,
Unfortunately didn't have the camera last time I was there, I would go back there just to shoot if it wasn't for the cost of parking, at least their Subway was nice! :)
