Thank you. They werent having any of it when I tried to move them to a clear part of the wall without the maid buzzer!

It was great fun. That is a great shot of the owl! superb shadows and exposure on it itself. Jealous-o-meter is ringing big time!
Thanks. He was not very good at going where he was supposed to. Kept flying over to some houses. But I've got quite a few keepers.

Thats pretty neat . Were you using a tripod and pano head , or doing "hold and hope"

"Hold and hope" :)

A while back I had tried this with the Hugin software and for that I did have to use a tripod in order to be able to match control points and get a proper overlap and orientation in the images. With the pano module in Lightroom I didn't have to do that, it automatically picked control points in the images and did a very good job of correcting for perspective. I tried to get an overlap of about a third for each image.

I actually like this method for wide angle shots because there is less distortion and the detail you can get is much better than from a wide angle lens.

Very, very cute OzBok!! Can't wait to see more :) As I've been learning over the last 2 years, they grow up *so* fast....

I was just reviewing some pics from last weekend and decided to share this one from a trip to the library.

Fantastic colours of the rocks. I hope i get chance to get some terrain shots when I head to Vegas later this year.

One thing though, would adding a tad of contrast (adds sat too of course) to this just make them thar hills pop more?

Yeah. i just played around with exposure, highlights, etc in CC until i got what i liked. However, the colors of these hills are like this.
