I got this shot yesterday after waiting for hours in a blind, at times in the rain and getting bitten by red ants. All great fun.

Saw this character at a fete today and had to ask him for a portrait. I messed it up the first time and didn't nail focus so I hunted him down later on in the day and had another go. Thankfully he was a photographer himself and was happy to indulge me.

Macro is definitely your strong point mate. Some lovely shots recently.
Thanks. I do enjoy macro. But as I was on a studio day it was much easier than normal.
Probably something different tomorrow.

They're great aren't they. I never shoot RAW even with my A7 and that's mainly because I got so used to the Fuji JPEGs being so good.
They're very good. I used to love editing in LR, but as the years pass, I'm grateful for anything that gets me to the photograph I want in the shortest amount of time (it also forces me to get it right in-camera). When you have JPEGs this good, you gotta use them!

More from the Grim North. This is the only rail transporter bridge standing. 100 years old this month apparently. Comments always appreciated.

Whenever there's a narrow band of focus in a pic, my eye goes to see what the photographer decided to 'isolate'. If there's nothing in particular - no 'subject' - I feel kinda disappointed. Just my two-pennorth. :)

Saw this interesting looking fella yesterday. He was piloting a mini steam bus.

[doublepost=1471260308][/doublepost]Out walking Gran's dog yesterday and discovered a wee path into the woods surrounding the park at the end of our street. Grabbed this as my eldest was exploring. I liked the scale of her against the trees.
