My son is still in his pajamas because my daughter moved to middle school and gets on the bus two hours earlier than he does. This was at 6:30 am, with barely enough ambient light! Way too early for school. :(

Awesome shot, I would totally hang this on my living room. Love the photo, the lighting, the smile, the pose, the love. So cool.

Thank you! I take the same image every year. One year I forgot to have her kissing his cheek, they were just side by side. But it’s fun to see them age over the years. :)

I usually remember to put the flag out, but it was only 6:30.

Lovely idea. I wonder how many more years they let you do it!

What an amazing idea... I had other ideas with mine, but couldn't pull them off. Awesome parenting skills you have.

My daughter stopped letting me take her picture when she was around 12. Unfortunately that's about when I first got into photography.

My daughter is 12 now but I usually can coerce her to pose. This morning she wasn’t very interested, but mostly just because she wanted to get to the bus stop. She loves school. My son still poses for me when I ask.

I’m not sure I’d rate that as a parenting skill, but thanks. :)

I know how hard it is to pose our own children, and every child/kid is different, I have two completely different from each other. So I rate it simply by looking at how well they did, somewhere down the line you guys did something right, I can't get my 12 year old daughter to pose, so most photos are from behind LOL - my son on the other had (16) he understands, the sooner he poses the sooner he is out of my viewfinder HA! anyways, good job!

Bubbles!
People at a park were having fun...and I had a challenge. Bubbles are really hard to capture! Happened during a local photo club meeting with our meeting place reflected in the bubble.

Major respect on this one. I have spent many a failed time trying to do this and failing. Far too much time chasing them trying for that same effect.
