Late afternoon snack.
Unrelated: My new GPU for my Mac Pro just arrived (previous card had malfunctioned). No sooner do I get the new card installed that the LED clamp-lamp at my computer desk goes bad.

I've been reviewing old pics to print. This is from a trip to Italy in 2013. I posted a version of this in last month's POTD thread. The image has been haunting me. In the version I shared before, I left my feet in the bottom of the pic to give a sense of orientation--it was shot from above looking down. It's part of the street and not a wall, for example.
But the image has been bugging me, feeling close but not quite there.
So I did another edit. This time cropping out my feet and also doing a guided transform in LR making each side of the grate "straight" relative to an ideal shot from above. In other words, making it a "perfect" rectangle.
I think I'm happy with this version
Nah...after the Cayman a ‘sporty’ SUV just doesn’t do it. Since I can’t afford a Panamera I’ve gone for Volvo. Bit of a contrast but it does the comfort job nicely.

Great tonality and subject
Like Volvos and am interested in their new electric version BUT should have held out for the Panamera. What a super car! My beast on the Porsche Experience. Well, I know how you feel. I'll never be able to afford one either. Heard that the base Taycan starts in the low 90's..... now that's gonna be interesting. If you're looking for affordable, the new C8 Vette starts at 60k, what a deal.
I watched the C8 reveal, and they even said this model is designed to accommodate steering wheels on the right side. It’s usually considered one of the better “everyday” sports cars when it comes to being a daily driver, so maybe you can use that bit to help your cause.Taycan would be more like it but when it comes to the UK it will be a lot more than the US price if every other car is anything to go by. Hold on though, with Brexit approaching I can see it getting even more expensive...The new Corvettes are night and day better for European roads than the older ones and bring great bang for the buck but I don't see me getting one. I'm told the Volvo has (by necessity perhaps) made me a more relaxed driver - probably not a bad thing at my age!
Here's a shot from NYC. Hand-held at night but not bad. Comments always appreciated.
