Continuing with the recent slide scanning with a camera/lightbox rather than a scanner from a 1985 outing, shooting in RAW has done wonders. Viewed on a projector, for years was considered "under exposed". It was a challenging lighting situation inside a well-known Christmas Shop in Rothenburg, DE intentionally kept dim so the decoration lights would set the atmosphere. The detail was there but hidden in the darkness but captured in the digital conversion to a RAW file. In lightroom, not only could the color shift that naturally occurred over the decades be corrected, but simple shadow adjustment brought the detail out that was not otherwise apparent on a natural projector view.
