Checking Sheffler’s swing, not quite good enough today, Rory won the Championship.

Street Portrait. I had seen this lady before. She was getting off a big motorcycle with tough looking big motorcycle guy. I passed by them and wanted to ask for a picture, but her appearance intimidated me. The day of this image she was walking while smoking alongside the mural in the background and as I was passing, I asked for an image. She was really nice.

Two hours to launch. Traffic unbelievable backed up to I-95 along the primary routes to reach the area. Glad I'm just going to a Wetlands wildlife park about 20 miles away. Think I will take some back roads to get there that I usually ride my road bike on to avoid traffic.

Thus far, everything looks GO!

There having a problem with one engine with a hydrogen leak. I think the mission is going to be scrubbed today.

Was about to add an edit note to the original post noting that issue. Will be a lot of disappointed people if scrubbed, but still officially a GO as crews evaluate and work on the issue. I'm still going. The worst that can happen is that I would be stuck in a wildlife preserve with a camera at sunrise.

What makes this bit of river worn limestone fascinating is that it is about 10 meters above the river bed and 50 meters downstream of Lundbreck Falls. Perhaps an indicator that the Falls have gradually eaten away at the ledge and moved upstream over the years. Another possibility is that 15,000 years or so ago when we had some really serious global warming and the continental ice shelf was retreating, the river really was a whole lot bigger for an extended period of time.

Good morning, It's 07:09 AM in Las Vegas. I just woke up! Thank you for sharing the photo.

Dang' mission abort again? Can you imagine people taking off from work just to watch the rocket launch? I was hoping today would be a good day however they shouldn't launch until it's all done right 100%. Looks like the next attempt is on September 2nd. Which is a Friday. Hopefully, it all goes well by then.
