Haven't had a chance to get out due to the apocalyptic weather at the moment so here is a not very interesting picture of a man at a station.

perfect placement of the main character. almost like he's entering 'the machine'

Thanks. I saw him walking along and only had a second or two to dial in the settings, focus and wait for him to walk into the right part of the frame. That's what I love about street photography- the thrill of getting the shot.....even if it's not particularly good.

Decided to buy this lens as a Christmas gift for myself:

I'm surprised by just how small it is when the cap and hood are removed. Beautiful lens.

This photo was taken at the large art festival in Toronto, Nuit Blanche. The whole downtown was covered in a variety of art installations, including my personal favourite (below) where a tiny side alley was converted into an odd lounge. Mismatched pieces of furniture were assembled into something unexplainable, but were still allowing you to have a seat in what used to be an armchair or a couch and relax after several hours spent walking around, exploring the festival.

It seemed like a great opportunity for interesting photos, and it kind of was, but the limited light, lots of people everywhere and my lack of experience shooting things like this resulted in memories that were too weird to properly capture on camera. Perhaps next year I will be better prepared :)

I really like the amount of depth in it! It's actually fairly interesting...

Took this at the Vans US Surfing open this summer. Some pretty awesome boarders, surfers, and other athletes. As always, feel free to criticize.

Nice gear shot. What do you use it with? Looks like an old-school manual focus.

No story behind this, was just feeling a bit festive and practicing with DOF.

Good Christmas card shot.

I like the steely grey colour palette...

Nice view and composition. Dark, intense colors. Brooding effect. I like it.

I actually shot it with a Sony A7 and an old Minolta Rokkor 50mm f/1.4. I can't wait to shoot the Voigtländer, I'm still waiting on the adapter to arrive.
