Put this in the mobile photography thread a few days ago, but had may as well put it in here too.

I was at work out the country for a while and just before I left I said my gf could get a kitten, so here he is upon my return a few days ago! This has one of the many excellent VSCOcam filters applied, and a tilt/shift effect from Filterstorm Neue.

Is this your pet? Must be how you get all those great shots!

OK...you're on to me AFB. This is Ralph the Red Tail and a member of our family. This shot was from last Saturday when I took him out for a fly around the neighbourhood. I just wish I could train him not to perch on the lamp shades and crap on the hot light bulbs...phew! ;)

The only other problem is that the neighbours keep complaining about their cats disappearing. :(

Nice scene. If it was possible, I'd step back a bit so that you see the mountain in the reflection as well. So there is some simatry.

Thanks for the compliment and suggestion. I can't quite remember where I was standing, but I know I was on the docks (could be problematic if I stepped too far back haha!)

Might revisit this shot and see if I can't recreate it with the mountain in the photo.

That's a superb shot. :)

My Xmas present arrived a few days early:

Very, very nice bike. I'm a road cyclist but no where near as serious as you are. That bike has got to cost a fortune. If I guessed, you're north (more than) of $14,000 USD?

Have fun riding it! And Merry Christmas (or whatever you may believe in) to all

I like what you've done here. Very simple yet sophisticated in it's own right.

Xmas shopping on Xmas Eve is never as bad as people think it will be. Pretty empty in Milton Keynes shopping centre.

Lol, nothing like planning ahead! Hope you find a nice hat for Mrs MacRy!

Glad mine was done early, as I'm still sick.

Man flu? Just got over that myself. It came on on my last day at work for two weeks. Great timing!

I always shop for odd bits on Xmas Eve for Mrs MacRy as it's not at all chaotic in the shops and I'm less inclined to want to punch people.

I did see a nice scarf that I thought she'd like then thought to myself "20 quid? She could knit one just like it herself"
