There are some really talented people in here!

I wouldn't quite say I'm one of them, therefore I'm looking for some critiquing please. Let me know what you think I could do better to make this shot of my local marina "pop" more. Thanks in advance :apple:

Nice scene. If it was possible, I'd step back a bit so that you see the mountain in the reflection as well. So there is some simatry.

That's a superb shot. :)

My Xmas present arrived a few days early:

Thanks.

Nice Christmas pressie...Santa might be upset you had it early or was it a gift to yourself...I tend to buy lots of gifts for myself leading up-to Christmas

Gift to myself - which is okay, I built a lot of it and had a bit of help from a really experienced rider who helped finish it off and get me fitted on it properly. :) Although I've ridden bikes quite a lot now, this one is a lot different - I'll spend time slowly getting used to it before I open the taps and give it everything.

I didn't think it was going to be finished before 24th December. I could write a story about the build. ;) The brakes and crankset were the major problems.

I've got to say thanks to Pave The Way bike fitters and Garmin-Sharp. It wouldn't have happened without both of them. There were a few very helpful local bike shops too who managed to source parts I needed in record time and offered very useful suggestions.

The entire built thing looks incredible: image

Nice little place you have there.

Thought I might have problems with my tripod at the Royal Armouries in Leeds. But everyone was Christmas shopping, the museum was quiet... so no bother...

It's nice when you find a tourist spot without the tourists isn't it?

Weird looking tripod? :)

I thought it was a go pro mount.
