Just got a new flash setup. Had a commander unit and radio flashes for my Sony but they were a PITA to use. Worked fine in manual mode, but was never able to get the commander unit to make changes to the remotes as advertised and the UI on the remotes kind of sucked--not intuitive at all and forced me to pull out the (crappy) manual if I hadn't used them in a bit. Sony released some radio flashes earlier this year and I decided to try them. Loving them so far. Very easy to control the remotes from the commander. Very easy and intuitive to use both in TTL mode and manual mode (can easily and intuitively adjust settings on the remotes from the commander unit on the camera).

A very long-winded introduction to today's pic of one of my cats where I used a remote flash bounced off the ceiling.

Found this small (30mm long) Dragonfly nymph emerging from its exoskeleton this morning in one of our frog ponds. Dragonflies can have up to thirteen stages of emergence as they grow. Have been watching and capturing its development as it has grown out its wings and body in an amazing transformation. Guess what I'm posting images of over the next few days? :D

It's always nice to find something like that. Looking forward to the rest of the series.
