I prefer this one. Would make a good caption competition!

Hello what's going on over there then?

'Scuse me for appearing rude, but there's a strange green blob on the sand ;)
Did you mean to leave it in the photo?

Cheers :)

Hugh

see below , I know you know that we both know what that blob is.

I'm guessing that green spot is a lens flare? I'd clone it out and brighten up the image a tad.
How's the trip going? Did you get snow?

I just kept it to make it look a bit natural. You think removing it will look better?

The trip was awesome. I’m back to London now. Yeah got some snow on 2 days. Some of the beautiful views were only for the eyes because I was on the A1. ‍♂️

I'd take it out personally.

Great scenery whilst driving? That's pretty standard! You can't pull over in the hard shoulder and set up a tripod!

I don't normally do this and will take it down if it offends you, but here is my take. I think you tried to pull the highlights back a bit too much so the white point is missing. Could do more with a RAW file and if I had better skills!

Glad I didn't offend.
The only other thing I tried to fix was the fact that the horizon is pretty central. But I couldn't with the placement of the sun. Just something to think about for next time. Rule of thirds and all that.

Not at all. I don’t get offended for tiny things like that. Always happy to learn and improve.

Another hour and a half later. The Dragonflies body has its full colours now, and the legs are nearly all black. The wings on the left have separated, but the pair on the right have stuck together again. The Dragonfly is repeatedly testing out its new wings with rapid flaps quite frequently. It's about 80mm long now, which is quite the transformation considering it was only 30mm long when it first emerged a couple of hours ago!

Meet my new friend Joske, living in a countryside farm.
They are lovely. Best served in a sesame seed bun!

Tell me more about this warm light. I only understand grey skies!

Very beautiful.
