I hope everyone is keeping well, I have been away from here for what seems the longest of times for reasons beyond my control. I had a chance to venture out with my support workers assistance on Wednesday to visit some abandoned places out in the country I had spotted via their rusty roof's on Google Earth. Here's the first one we stopped at, which I had no idea what it was, just that it looked rusty from above, there was no street view or angular views for this one to help clear up the matter, but, as luck would have it, it was a gem!

What a lovely place! Even has a hot tub outside! Hope everything is okay down under.

Lovely, but looks like your sensor is dirty. I’d clone out those dark spots.

It was a sweet little place actually, probably over 100 years old, going by the building style & technique of stone stacked walls covered in mortar & render. The hot tubs were full of water, the downpipe from the house roof is still connected & working!

Finally gaining some equilibrium back after things have wrapped up for the year. Looking forward to putting my feet up, doing some long overdue work in the garden, reworking a couple of websites, catching up on lots of editing & heaps of long walks down the beach with Fenna.

Sounds good! Especially the beach walks. I have a 2 hour drive to walk by the sea.

My annual (somewhat) holiday season greeting.

Old enough to remember when it was fashionable for ladies to wear mink stoles ? (I sadly am) My mom had one that she'd wear maybe once or twice a year . The rest of the time it cohabited a clothing bag in the attic along with some mothballs . Anyway , every Christmas local garden clubs team up to decorate one of the local historic mansions for the holidays . Went there to see their handiwork and what do I find in the corner but Santa with the weasels .

I haven't forgotten about my P365, and have still been shooting daily but I am very behind in editing and posting with Christmas and very special 13th birthday on Saturday. I am furiously sewing family PJs on the request of the birthday girl. The end is in sight.
