Here ya go .....
Sometime in the late 1970's ( or maybe early '80's) we were gifted a 'new to us ' IBM Selectric by a friend who was a typewriter and business equipment repair man . Still have it , though it resides in the attic , still works ( or did a few years back) . Got us through 3 Master's degrees plus an indeterminate number of kid's term papers . We had a couple of different balls for different fonts/sizes , probably still around somewhere .

In the Washington, DC area it is now official -- we have had more rainfall throughout 2018 than in any other year EVER!! Other cities and towns around the US, too, have been setting new records as well.
