And I think for Americans, Jessica Lange is more synonym for Empire State Building than King Kong😊

That's an interesting choice! I wonder how many American actually remember the Dino DeLaurentis version. "When the monkey die, people gonna cry!" I would guess more people say Naomi Watts, but I could be wrong. And she wouldn't be synonymous with the Empire State Building, being an Aussie. Actually, given the prominent place in film history for the original, perhaps more people would identify Fay Wray!

EDIT: It occurs to me, Jessica Lange was not carried up the Empire State Building. In the 1976 film, King Kong scales the World Trade Center.

Thanks for replying!
I was born in 1976 and the first King Kong I saw in my teenage life was the one with Jessica Lange.
So i'm just guessing now, but I think that for people that was born in the 70s and 80s they think of Jessica Lange, and for people that was born later perhaps they think of Noaomi Watts. But that just my thoughts😊
I have seen the movie with NW and it's quite good. The FX are quite good for a movie made in 2005.
And also I have to admit that I haven't seen the first movie from 1933😞

The worn trodden banner on the floor in my nearby shop says, in Swedish, barely legible,

Tack för hjälpen med
att hålla avstånd ❤️
which often translates into English as ”Thank you for keeping your distance”.

It seems the covid pandemic is fading away in some ways. This is not so much a picture as it is a philosophical reflection.
