It really is. This is sunrise during a winter ascent of the North Face of the mountain. My partner on the trip was a professional outdoor photographer and got a great shot of me at about the same point - it ended up being a picture for a month in a large-format outdoor calendar. Needless to say, I bought a couple of copies

My daughter’s. December 24. Who did you think I meant?

This is from her second birthday, the morning of her party. Probably the very first time she got an inkling of what it’s like to have a party. I mean, look at this stuff. What the heck is all this?

Question for the group on this one. This is the sort of photo (which, btw, is amazing) that I would kind of reflexively de-haze. Do you think that would improve or worsen this shot? I mean, nothing we do digitally needs to eliminate the original or anything, but just as an exercise.

seems like a characteristic of that lens, which is presumably desired by the photographer. i use several lenses specifically for glow so i would not edit it out.
